Harold Moore Hawkins, Linden resident
Harold Moore Hawkins, 80, of Linden, died Sept. 3 at his home. He was born in Clarke County, Va., on May 30, 1928, to the late Henry E. and Phylis Cornwell Hawkins.
Mr. Hawkins was the Commonwealth's Attorney for Clarke County for four years.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia G. Hawkins; three daughters, Anne C. Treece of Winchester, Gretchen H. Pollard of Linden and Roberta M. Hawkins of Linden; and two grandchildren.
A sister, Gene Himelwright of Hudson, N.Y., also survives.
A memorial service was held Sept. 8 in Grace Episcopal Church, The Plains. Interment was at Greenhill Cemetery in Berryville.
The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Grace Episcopal Church Discretionary Fund, PO Box 32, The Plains VA 20198; or Middleburg Humane Foundation, Route 622, Marshall VA 20115.
