Kelsey Jean-Marie Orndorff

Kelsey Jean-Marie Orndorff, student
Kelsey Jean-Marie Orndorff, 17, of Culpeper, died Aug. 29 in Culpeper. She was born to the Rev. James Randall Orndorff and Lee Anne Taylor Orndorff in Winchester on May 6, 1991.
Kelsey was a senior at Fredericksburg Christian High School; was an all-A student since the ninth grade; was a member of the National Honor Society, the National Forensics League, the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and the Interact Club; was co-president of the Culpeper United Methodist Church Youth Group; served on nine different mission teams; was a founding member of the praise band Satellite 29; volunteered with the Culpeper Free Clinic; and performed in school dramas and plays.
Surviving Kelsey are her parents, the Rev. James Randall and Lee Anne Taylor Orndorff of Culpeper, and her brothers, Joshua Randall Orndorff and Jordan Conley Orndorff of Culpeper.
A memorial service was held Sept. 2 in the Culpeper United Methodist Church. A service of celebration will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 3, in the Riverton United Methodist Church, 55 East Strasburg Road, Front Royal. Interment will be at Panorama Memorial Gardens, Waterlick, Va.
