Stewart Lee Ozier, 62, of Midland, died Sept. 1 at his home in Ocean Isle Beach, N.C. He was born May 26, 1946, in Granite City, Ill., to Lloyd and Reba Stewart Ozier.
Mr. Ozier was a U.S. Army veteran and retired as an accountant from the federal government in 2004.
He is survived by his wife, Margie L. Ozier; a son, Michael S. Ozier of Manassas; a daughter, Julie M. Ozier of Wilmington, N.C.; and a brother, Dennis Ozier of Sullivan, Ill.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 4, in the Brunswick Funeral Service Chapel, Shallotte, N.C., officiated by the Rev. Don Barclay Jr. Burial will follow in the Mintz Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Liberty United Methodist Church, 10513 Old Marsh Road, Bealeton VA 22712.
