Obituary

Lewis Edward Waddell Sr.,

Died March 2, 2008
 

Lewis Edward Waddell Sr., painter/paper hanger

Lewis Edward "Pete" Waddell Sr., 75, of Middleburg died March 2.

Mr. Waddell worked as a painter-paper hanger before doing farm maintenance in his later years.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Costello Waddell; his son, Lewis E. Waddell Jr. of The Plains; three grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

He is also survived by siblings Bryant Waddell of The Plains, Mattie Bonner of Maryland, Teresa Gregg of W.Va., Thayer Pickel of Linden and Betty Kellogg of Sarasota, Fla.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 8, from 10 a.m. until services at 11 a.m. in St. Mark's United Methodist Church, 6451 East Main St. (Route 55), The Plains. Interment will be at Middleburg Memorial Cemetery.

Arrangements are by Royston Funeral Home, Middleburg.
