Live Music at the Grind

By kschlagel

It might still surprise many that there is a source of local live music right here in Gainesville all year round.

The Daily Grind Coffee House & Cafe, located across from Heritage Hunt in Gainesville, hosts live music every Friday and Saturday evenings from 7 PM to 9 PM. The music is family-friendly - often with Christian themes, instrumentals, and pop type of music. Past performances have included Celtic, alternative rock, and a jazz guitarist.

Also at the Grind are two monthly performances by Mr. Don. He performes Children's Interactive Music that your young ones would love to dance to and join in. He is there on the first Monday (1 PM) and third Friday (10:15 AM) of every month. There is a suggested donation for his performance if you enjoy the show.

The Daily Grind is located at 7929 Heritage Village Plaza in Gainesville and is best mapped using Yahoo Maps. The phone number is 703-753-0807.
