Charity golf tournament

WHO: The Newton Marasco Foundation (NMF), a public environmental charity, invites all golfers to participate in their 5th annual golf tournament. Non-golfers are welcome to attend an auction following the tournament. The event is co-sponsored by Project Performance Corporation (McLean, VA) and Tetra Tech (Reston, VA.)
WHAT: The 2008 Greater Washington Eco-Golf Classic
In addition to the captain's choice team event, golfers can compete in contests such as closest to the pin on all Par 3's, and men's and women's longest drive. Cash prizes can be won at the putting contest or by sinking a hole-in-one.
Auction
An auction following the tournament includes vacation packages to New York, a seaside cottage in Lewes, DE, and Wintergreeen Resort, among others.

Tournament begins at 9:00 a.m. Auction begins at 4:00
HOW: Golfers may register at newtonmarasco.golfreg.com . Cost is $200/per golfer.
WHY: The proceeds of the tournament will benefit NMF’s youth environmental education programs in the greater Washington area.
