7U Virginia Cannons Top Dawg!

The 7U Virginia Cannons are proud to announce that they went down to Mechanicsville, VA May 21-22 and returned with the 7U Championship from the Top Dawg Tournament! The entire team hit the ball hard and was led my Nick Marreo (3 for 4, w/2 RBIs), Reid Sanders (2 for 3, w/1 RBI), Tucker Love (2 for 3, w/1 RBI), Jack Robinson (2 for 3), Trevor White (2 for 4, w/2 RBIs), Ryan Fyvie (1 for 3, w/4 RBIs), Blake Stefonsky (1 for 3), Matthew Boyd (1 for 3), and Collin Palmer (1 for 4, w/1 RBI). Many of the boys made some fine defensive plays like from Will Brandenburg and Tucker Williams to hold off the 7U Powhatten Bucks to seal the 12 to 8 victory. This is the first time the Cannons have ever had a 7U team and we feel these boys are representing the Virginia Cannons organization well.
