Stonewall Jackson HS 5K to benefit teacher's family
The staff of Stonewall Jackson High School is hosting a 5K race on Saturday, May 31st for the benefit of Matthew Costis. Matthew is the 8-year-old son of Tom Costis, a special education teacher at Stonewall. In early February, Matthew was diagnosed with a rare, extremely serious type of brain cancer. He has undergone several surgeries, radiation treatments, and will soon begin chemotherapy for a period of six months to two years.
