**INCIDENTS**


Attempted Armed Bank Robbery – On January 21st at 10:05AM, police responded to the Cardinal Bank located at 14000 Jefferson Davis Hwy in Woodbridge (22191) for an attempted robbery. Employees reported to police that two unknown men approached the bank and attempted to made entry. At the time, all of the bank doors were locked and secured. One of the men displayed a handgun at the door and demanded one of the employees to let them in. The employee refused and the men fled on foot. Police checked the surrounding areas but did not locate the men.

Lookout:

2 black males, both reported to be between 20 & 30 years of age, 5’10” / 140lbs, thin

build, with long dreadlocks

1st male was last seen wearing grey hooded sweatshirt, light colored pants and a black

mask [suspect that displayed the handgun]

2nd male was last seen wearing a black zip up style jacket, black hood, black pants and

Gloves



Carjacking – On January 21st at 11:09PM, police responded to investigate a carjacking which was reported to have occurred in the 4700 block of South Park Ct in Woodbridge (22193) on January 18th at around 12:00PM. The victim, a 28 year old man of Woodbridge, reported to police that he had encountered the accused, a known acquaintance, while at the Wal-Mart on Worth Ave on January 18th. The accused allegedly followed the victim back to his residence on South Park Ct where a verbal altercation ensued. During the encounter, the accused allegedly threatened the victim because the victim would not let the accused use his vehicle. After being threatened, the victim reluctantly gave the accused the keys to the vehicle. The accused fled the scene. Attempts to locate the accused were unsuccessful.

Eddrick Dandrea FITZGERALD, 30 – last known address of Dumfries

Described as a black male, 6’0” / 160lbs, black shoulder length dreadlocks / brown hair

Wanted for carjacking


Attempted Strong Armed Robbery – On January 22nd at 10:49PM, police responded to the Sunoco located at 3220 Old Bridge Rd in Woodbridge (22192) for an attempted robbery. The victim, a 39 year old woman of Woodbridge, reported to police that she was loading items into her vehicle in the above parking lot when she was approached by an unknown man who attempted to take those items. The victim was able to keep hold of the items and the man fled on foot. No injuries were reported and no items were taken.

Black male, between 20 & 30 years of age, 5’02” / 130lbs, black hair / brown eyes

Last seen wearing a black shirt, black jeans and a black bandana


Burglary – On January 21st at 6:45PM, police responded to the 15600 block of Horseshoe Ln in Woodbridge (22191) for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 12:30PM and 5:00PM. Entry appeared to have been made through a rear door which had been forced opened. No items of value were reported missing.


Burglary – On January 20th at 1:15AM, police responded to the 14500 block of Faith Ct in Woodbridge (22191) for a burglary in progress. Homeowner reported to police that all occupants were on an upper level of the home when suspicious noises were heard downstairs. Police arrived and discovered a screen had been cut from a rear window which was then forced opened. The intruder fled prior to police arrival. No items were reported missing.



**ARRESTS**


Rape – On November 14th of 2011, police began an investigation into a sexual assault which was reported to have occurred in the 17200 block of Garcia Way in Dumfries (22026). The investigation revealed that the victim, a 4 year old girl of Dumfries, had been sexually assaulted by the accused, a known acquaintance, on September 28th of 2011. After the incident, the accused fled to South Carolina. On January 19th, the accused returned to Prince William and was subsequently arrested and charged.

Arrested:

Kenny Lee ANDERSON, 20, of New Ellenton, South Carolina

Charged with rape and aggravated sexual battery

Court date set for March 28, 2012, held WITHOUT bond


Assault & Battery on Law Enforcement Officer [LEO] – On January 20th at 9:53PM, police responded to the Hibachi Grill located at 1965 Daniel Stuart Sq un Woodbridge (22191) for a fight. Police arrived to investigate the complaint and located on of the parties, the accused, supposedly involved in the altercation. During the investigation, the accused provided officers with false information and was placed under arrest. At this point, the accused turned towards one of the arresting officers and struck him in the face before fleeing on foot. After a brief foot pursuit, the accused was arrested without further incident. The officer sustained minor injuries.

Theodore Anthony TANNER JR, 20, of Washington DC

Charged with assault & battery on LEO, providing false information to police and resisting

arrest

Court date set for February 24, 2012, held WITHOUT bond


Discharging a Firearm in Public On January 20th at 10:20PM, police responded to the 2000 block of Horizon Ct in Woodbridge (22191) for a shooting. Caller reported to police than an unknown man, later identified as the accused, was seen on a balcony in the above area firing a weapon at a nearby stop sign. Police were able to locate the apartment, #203, and the accused. The weapon was determined to be a BB gun. No injuries or property damage were reported.

Arrested:

Andre Tayvon SULLIVAN, 19, of Woodbridge

Charged with discharging a firearm in public

Court date set for February 24, 2012, bond information unavailable
