Police seek carjacker

Prince William County Police Officers are looking for a man that stole a car in Manassas on September 10, 2010.
On September 10 at approximately 9:50 a.m. the victim, a 46 year old female from Manassas, was returning to her car parked in the lot of the West Gate Giant, 8025 Sudley Rd., Manassas, when a man approached her from behind, demanded and took her car keys from her, and stole her 2005 Toyota Camry.  The car was last seen driving away from the store toward northbound Sudley Rd.
The suspect is a white male, 30 – 35 years of age, approximately 6’ 00” tall, slim build, wearing blue jeans, a dark jacket, and wearing a backpack.
The victim’s car is a red 2005 Toyota Camry 4-door with Virginia license tags JTL-7235.
Anyone with information that could help identity the suspect or the location of the car are asked to call the Prince William County Police Department at (703) 792-6500.  Citizens are reminded not to approach the car or the suspect but to call the local police when it is safe to do so.
