Police reports: 9-10

Armed Robbery

On September 09th at 4:46PM, police responded to the 4200 block of Gibson Ct in Woodbridge for a robbery. The victim, a 28 year old woman of Centreville, reported to police that she had picked up a known male acquaintance and another unknown man at Cloverdale Park and drove them to the area above. While walking to a residence on Gibson Ct, one of the men displayed a knife and both took the victim’s purse before fleeing the area. The victim was not injured during the incident. Through an investigation, the below individual was arrested in connection with this incident. A search was conducted at the accused residence of 4017 Forge Dr in Dale City. Items reported missing in the robbery were recovered. The investigation continues for the other man involved.

Arrested: Wyatt Jamal Hessing, 21, of 4017 Forge Dr in Dale City

Charged with armed robbery, possession of a schedule II narcotic and grand larceny

Court date unavailable, held on a $10,000 secured bond

 

**OTHER INCIDENT REPORTS**

 

Burglary

On September 09th at 11:22AM, police responded to the 12700 block of Hunterbrook Dr in Woodbridge for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 10:00AM and 11:15AM. Entry appeared to have been made through the rear sliding glass door which had been broken. Electronics valuing around $2,300 were reported missing.

 

Attempted Burglary

On September 10th at 3:19Am, police responded to the 14100 block of Essex Dr in Woodbridge for an attempted burglary. Homeowner reported to police that around 3:19AM, he was awoken by his son who reportedly saw someone looking in his window. While investigating, the homeowner reported seeing an unknown person in the bushes outside the residence. The unknown person fled the area. A screen had reportedly been removed from the window. Homeowner could not describe the person.

 

 

**CRIME SOLVERS CASE**

 

Destruction of Property – School

On September 09th at 6:43PM, police responded to Frannie Fitzgerald Elementary School located at 15500 Benita Fitzgerald Dr in Woodbridge for a vandalism. The investigation revealed that between 2:30PM and 6:25M, an unknown person(s) cracked the exterior pane of a rear glass door at the school.
