Missing Nokesville couple found

Two seniors missing since Thursday have been located in Maryland.

After a joint effort by Maryland State Police, Baltimore County Police, Baltimore City Police and Prince William County Police, Hazel and Herman Thomas of Nokesville were found safe in Jessup, Md.

On September 09th, police received word that the couple, ages 83 and 86, failed to return home from a funeral which was being held in Marshall, Va. Both reportedly suffer from dementia. At 3 p.m. on September 09th, the family received word from the couple saying they were returning home to Nokesville but they never arrived.

Police broadcast a lookout to the media and within hours, announced that the pair were safe.
