**UPDATES**
Serious Crash
On August 28th at 7:52PM, police responded to the area of Cardinal Dr and Mendoza Ln in Woodbridge for a crash. The investigation revealed that the driver of a 2006 Suzuki motorcycle was traveling westbound on Cardinal Ln when it struck a curb and entered the center median striking small trees. Driver was flown out for injuries with life threatening injuries. Speed is a factor in this incident. Investigation continues. On August 31st, the driver of the motorcycle succumbed to his injuries as a result of this incident.

**ARRESTS**
Burglary
On August 30th at 9:25PM, police responded to the 13400 block of Greenacre Dr in Woodbridge for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that known acquaintances had taken items from the residence while they were out. The investigation yielded 2 arrests.

Charged with burglary and grand larceny
Court date set for October 05, 2010, held on a $12,000 secured bond
(Mr. Pardo was also wanted on 3 felony charges out of Fairfax Co.)
Vanessa Neomi Velasquez, 21, of 15036 Alabama Ave in Woodbridge
Charged with burglary and grand larceny
Court date set for October 05, 2010, released on a $6,000 unsecured bond
**OTHER INCIDENT REPORTS**
Shooting
On September 01st at 7:13AM, police responded to the 14700 block of Conway Dr in Independent Hill for a call of shots fired. A preliminary investigation has revealed that 2 known acquaintances exchanged gun fire in a residence in the above area. No one was injured as a result of this incident. All parties involved have been identified or/and detained. The investigation continues.
Burglary
On September 01st at 12:56AM, police responded to the 17600 block of Avenel Ln Dumfries for a burglary in progress. The homeowner reported to police that he had heard a noise on the main level of the residence. Upon investigating the noise, he discovered an unknown man in the kitchen. The man left the residence prior to police arrival. Entry appeared to have been made through an unlocked garage door. No injuries reported.

Burglary
On August 31st at 10:30PM, police responded to the 13000 block of Tory Lp in Woodbridge for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 7:40AM and 9:10PM. Entry appeared to have been made through an unlocked rear door. A computer valued around $600 was reported missing.
Burglary
On August 30th at 6:00AM, police responded to Propps Grocery located at 13711 Dumfries Rd in Manassas for a burglary. Employee reported to police that the burglary occurred between 11:00PM on August 29th and 6:00AM on August 30th. Entry appeared to have been gained through the front door which had been broken open. Items and damage totaling around $1,600 were reported.
