Arrests

Sexual Battery, on 03-12-10, at approximately 1:20 p.m., the victim responded to the Western District Station to report a sexual battery that occurred on March 10, 2010, around 1:15 p.m., in the area of University Boulevard near Freedom Center Boulevard in Manassas. Detectives from the Violent Crimes Unit investigated the incident and obtained a warrant for the arrest Michael L. Zollner Jr., 51, of Old Landing Way in Woodbridge, and charged him sexual battery. Zollner is accused of inappropriate touching a woman during a driving lesson. The victim was identified as a 25 year old woman from Manassas. Zollner turned himself in on 03-12-10 and was released on $2,500 on the same date.

 

Abduction, Attempted Malicious Wounding, occurred on 03-13-10, at around 6:47 p.m., the police responded to the 4300 block of Norbury court in Woodbridge to investigate a shooting. Arrested was Angela Wilson, 46, of Norbury court, on the named charges. The investigation revealed that the accused forced her boyfriend into the living room at gun point during an argument. The incident escalated and Wilson fire a round from her hand gun. The victim ran from the scene unharmed when he had an opportunity to do so. Wilson was held on $3,000 bond and will have a hearing in the Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court.

 

Rape, occurred on 03-14-10, at approximately 4:30 p.m. in the 14900 block of Emberdale Drive in Dale City. Detectives from Crimes Against Children investigated the rape of a 17 year old girl and arrested Dejon Tyrone Carr, 18, of Enson Court in Dale City charging him with rape. Carr is accused of forcing his way into the victim's home and raping her. The victim and Carr are acquaintances. Carr is being held without bond and will have a hearing in the Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court.
