Supervisors list agenda for March 16
The Prince William Board of County Supervisors will meet on Tuesday, March 6, 2010, at 2 p.m. in the Board Chamber of the James J. McCoart Administration Building.
During the 2 p.m. meeting the board will hear a presentation on the Risk and Stress Analysis from the Office of Executive Management, an after action report on the recent snow emergency from Emergency Operations, an update from the current General Assembly session, the Google Fiber for Communities request for information submission, and consider recommendations from the Planning Department concerning some proposed Comprehensive Plan Amendments applications. In addition to these items, the board will conduct other routine county business.
At the 7:30 p.m. meeting, the board will hold public hearings on a Special Use Permit for Lake Ridge Parks and Recreation Child Care in the Occoquan Magisterial District, a Special Use Permit in the Brentsville Magisterial District for the signage at the Wal-Mart at Manassas Mall, a Proffer Amendment and Special Use Permit from Madison Crescent Sign Package in the Brentsville Magisterial District, and a Comprehensive Plan Amendment for the North Woodbridge Urban Mixed Use Area Master Plan in the Woodbridge Magisterial District.
Board meetings are streamed live on the county’s Web site, and archived for future viewing at http://ww.pwcgov.org/bocsmeetings. The board’s agenda and other information on the Board’s meetings are also available at http://www.pwcgov.org/bocs.
Board meetings are aired live on Comcast Channel 23 and Verizon Channel 37 on Tuesdays as scheduled, and are repeated Wednesday through Friday at 7:30 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday at 10 a.m.
