Alleged Manassas drug dealer busted
In January 2010, detectives from the Narcotics Task Force received tips involving drug activity at Coopers Lane in Manassas. As a result of the investigation, three search warrants were executed and one man was arrested. Jackson Ballard, 37 years old of Coopers Lane was arrested and charged with two counts of Distribution of Marijuana. Ballard was held on $4,000 bond and has a court date of March 25, 2010. During the execution of the search warrants, five pounds (5 lbs), $37,835, and a 2003 Chevrolet Blazer were seized. In addition a reported stolen motorcycle was recovered. The motorcycle was found in the storage unit. The investigation in reference to where it was stolen from and all the information pertaining to the motorcycle continues.
On 03-10-10, the detectives from the Narcotics Task Force executed three search warrants at the following addresses:

Bruton Parish in Manassas City
Colonel Court Storage Unit in Manassas City
