Police seek tips on home invasion

On 03-11-10, at approximately 12:39 p.m., the police responded to Presidio Way in Lake Ridge to investigate a burglary in progress call. The victim, a 29 year old woman reported that she heard noise coming from the rear of her house and went to investigate. It was reported to the police that two unknown suspects kicked in the rear ground level door and forced their way into the townhouse. The suspects forced the victim into a bedroom that is located in the upper level of the residence, placed her face down on the floor, and demanded to know the location of where the drugs were. The suspects looked around in the residence and left when they did not find what they were looking for. The suspects were in the wrong house.

During the incident, there were three children in the home, all kids under five years old. The victim and mother of the children were not harmed during the incident. There were no reported weapons involved and the suspects are only described as two black males.

Anyone with information about the home invasion is asked to call Prince William County Crime Solvers at 703-670-3700 or 1-866-411-TIPS. You don’t have to give your name, just the information. You could earn up to a $1,000 cash reward.
