Local therapists open new office in Haymarket
Group Therapy Associates, a psychotherapy practice serving individuals and couples in Prince William, Fauquier and Loudoun counties, have opened their new office in the town of Haymarket. The office is the only health care provider in the town of Haymarket that provides group therapy and individual therapy for adolescents, adults, and couples.
“We have excellent colleagues in the Gainesville and Manassas area but we think it’s exciting to finally offer Haymarket residents counseling services in their town,” said Esther Boykin, co-owner of Group Therapy Associates and a Haymarket resident. “With such a limited number of therapists in the area, it’s nice to be able to provide our services and hopefully make life easier for those seeking help.”
Group Therapy Associates, now located in the Foster’s building at the intersection of U.S. 15 and Washington Street, specializes in groups for adolescents and couples but also provides traditional individual therapy services for clients age 10 and up.
The co-owners, Llouana Harper and Esther Boykin, opened Group Therapy Associates last year. In addition to their work with clients, Boykin and Harper offer workshops, trainings, and networking luncheons for local doctors and other wellness professionals to learn more about how therapy can complement the services that they provide to their clientele.
