Bobcats plow down Raiders

The Battlefield Bobcat varsity volleyball team destroyed Stonewall Jackson on Oct. 22, beating the Raiders three games to none in Manassas.

The Bobcats won the three games 25-11, 25-14 and 25-12. It was the second time this year that Battlefield walked away with a perfect match against their cross-town rivals, leaving the Bobcats up 6-0 over the Raiders for the season.

Battlefield's Bailey Liddle and Jasmine Mann each had eight kills for the night. Alyssa Caudle had seven service aces and Alison Fullerton had five. Bobcats Mikaela Whitaker and Kelly Milione had 18 and 11 digs respectively.

Thursday, Oct. 29, is Senior Night as the Bobcats (12-5 overall, 3-3 in the district) take on Heritage at home in Haymarket.
