Arrests and incidents reported by police on Oct. 21


Arrest

Altering Price Tags, occurred on October 20, 2009, around 5:46 p.m. in the 14000 Foulger Square in Woodbridge. Arrested was Eugene Muresan, 51, of N. Elm Street, Mount Prospect in Illinois on the charge. Muresan is accused of placing bar code stickers of lower price to a wall detector kit and an impact driver kit. Muresan paid for the merchandise then walked out of the store. Muresan was arrested and charged with altering price tag and was held without bond. Muresan has a court date of November 30, 2009.

Incidents

Grand Larceny of Auto, occurred between October 19, 2009, around 8:30 p.m. and October 20, 2009, around 5:00 a.m. in the 14900 block of Amaranth Court in Woodbridge. A 2007, Chevy, Uplander, van, blue in color, valued at $12, 000 was stolen. The victim had parked his vehicle in is driveway when it was stolen.

Grand Larceny from Auto, occurred between October 17, 2009, around d4;30 p.m. and October 19, 2009, around 5;15 a.m. in the 2100 block of Culpeper Drive in Woodbridge. Two airbags were stole from a 2005, Acura, RSX. Entry to the vehicle was gained by breaking a window. The total amount of the stolen property is $1,940. The victim had parked his vehicle in front of his residence.

Grand Larceny from Auto, occurred on October 20, 2009, between midnight and 6:00 a.m. in the 2600 block of Seville Court in Woodbridge. The victim reported that his work van was broken into and an air compressor, a finish nail gun, a saw, two drills, three sanders, and miscellaneous tools were stolen. The total amount of the stolen property is $1,810. Entry to the van was gained by forcing the locked door open.

Grand Larceny from Auto, occurred between October 19, 2009, around 9:00 p.m. and October 20, 2009, around 9:00 a.m. in the 12300 block of Colby Drive in Lake Ridge. The victim reported that a stereo was stolen from his 2003, Acura, 3.2TL. The stereo is valued at $1000. Entry was gained by breaking a window.

Grand Larceny from Auto, occurred between October 19, 2009, and October 20, 2009, around 6:39 a.m. in the 2900 block of Madeira Court in Woodbridge. The victim reported that his work van was broken into and construction tools were stolen. Hammers, power drills, tape, pliers are some of stolen items. The total amount of the stolen property is $1,982. Entry was gained by forcing a locked door open.

Grand Larceny from Auto, occurred on October 18, 2009, between midnight and 3:23 a.m. in the 2300 block of W. Longview Drive in Woodbridge. The victim reported that she returned home from work and found her van partially stripped of parts. The doors, seats, headlights, front bumper, the front hood, and airbags had been stolen from her 2003, Honda, Odyssey. The estimated amount of the stolen parts is $5,100.
