Arrests and incidents reported by police on Nov. 24

Arrests

Prescription Fraud, occurred on November 22, 2009, around 4:00 p.m. at a pharmacy located in the 5500 block of Merchants View Square in Haymarket. The police responded to investigate a report of prescription fraud. Arrested was Brooke Lee Reighard, 22, of 11926 Palmer Lane in Haymarket on the charge. Reighard is accused of attempting to get pain medication with a fraudulent prescription. Reighard was held on $20,000 bond and has a court date of January 21, 2010.

Possession With Intent to Distribute Marijuana, Driving Under the Influence (DUI), occurred on November 11, 2009, around 5:58 p.m. in the area of Nokesville Road and Aden Road in Nokesville. A patrol supervisor conducted a traffic stop and arrested John Leroy Cross II, 49, of 12715 Carriage Ford Road in Nokesville on the charges. Initially Cross was arrested for DUI, search incident to arrest, the arresting officer found drugs in the vehicle that Cross was operating. Cross was held on $2,500 bond and has a court date of January 22, 2010.

Incidents

Statutory Burglary, occurred between November 18, 2009, around 5:00 p.m. and November 19, 2009, around 8:00 a.m. in the 7800 block of Zeeland Place in Gainesville. Appliances valued at $2,000 were stolen from a house under construction. A stove top, a dishwasher, and a refrigerator were stolen. There were no signs of forced entry to the house.

Statutory Burglary, occurred on November 21, 2009, between 11:00-11:45 a.m. in the 9800 block of Nimitz Court in Manassas. An undisclosed amount of cash was stolen from the victim's house. The victim reported that she was gone for less than one hour and when she returned she observed two men running from her house. The first suspect is described as a Black male, between 16-16-years-old, approximately 5'9", heavy built, brown hair, and was wearing a red sweater and blue jeans. The second suspect is described as a White male, between 15-15-years-old, approximately 5'8" tall, thin built, brown hair, and was wearing a white t-shirt and blue jeans. There were no signs of forced entry to the house.

Statutory Burglary, occurred between November 21, 2009, around 11:00 p.m. and November 22, 2009, around 7:15 a.m. in the 8000 block of Folkstone Road in Manassas. A lap top computer and a small amount of cash were stolen from the victim's kitchen. The total amount of the stolen property is $1,235. There were no signs of forced entry to the house.

Statutory Burglary, occurred on November 18, 2009, between 11:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. in the 8200 block of Arrowleaf Lane in Bristow. A microwave and stove top were stolen from a house under construction. The total amount of the stolen property is $1,900. A double door over was removed from the wall and was damaged beyond repair during the burglary. There were no signs of forced entry to the house.

Statutory Burglary, occurred between November 17, 2009, around midnight and November 18, 2009, around 9:22 a.m. in the 7600 block of Centreville Road in Manassas. A diagnostic machine was stolen from an auto repair shop. There were no signs of forced entry to the business. The total amount of the stolen property is $5,000.
