 Arrests

Possession With Intent to Distribute Marijuana, Possession of Schedule I Substance (ecstasy pill), occurred on November 21, 2009, around 10:19 p.m. in the area of Cloverdale Road and Dale Boulevard in Dale City. A patrol officer conducted a traffic stop and arrested Jordan Mathew Petitt, 19, of Kendall Drive in Woodbridge on the charges. Petitt is accused of being in possession of drugs. Petitt was released on $2,000 unsecured bond and has a court date of January 12, 2010.

Prescription Fraud, Possession of Schedule III Substance (hydrocodone), Resisting Arrest occurred on November 20, 2009, around 4:49 p.m. at a pharmacy located in the 5400 block of Mapledale Plaza in Dale City. The police responded to investigate a complaint in reference to a prescription fraud. Arrested was Lisandro Alberto Gomez, 20, of Maryland Avenue, Woodbridge, on the charges. Gomez is accused of being in possession of fraudulent prescriptions and being in possession of prescription medication. Gomez was held without bond and has a scheduled court date of January 20, 2010.

Statutory Burglary, Petit Larceny, occurred on November 21, 2009, around 11:02 p.m. in the 13200 Occoquan Road in Woodbridge. The police responded to investigate a burglary in progress call. When the officers arrived, they found a man inside the store. Arrested was Ronald Lynn Harris, 41, of Southhampton Street in Woodbridge on the charges. Harris is accused of breaking a glass window to gain entry and stealing an undisclosed amount of coins from the business. Harris was held without bond and has a scheduled court date of January 20, 2010.

Malicious Wounding, occurred on November 22, 2009, around 2:16 a.m. in the 14300 block of Beleville Avenue in Woodbridge. Arrested was Diana Caroli Benavides Batres, 20, of Beleville Avenue on the charge. Batres is accused of stabbing an acquaintance on his back during an argument. The victim was identified as a 31-year-old man from Woodbridge. Batres was released on $3,000 bond. The court date was not available. The medical treatment for the victim was not available.   

Unlawful Wounding, occurred on November 22, 2009, around 6:24 p.m. in the 13700 block of Marys Way in Woodbridge. Arrested was Charles C. Smith, 39, of Marys Way on the charge. Smith is accused of assaulting an acquaintance during an argument. The victim, a 45-year-old man from Woodbridge was treated at a local hospital. Smith was released on his own recognizance and has a court date of December 14, 2009.

Incidents

Malicious Wounding, occurred on November 21, 2009, around 10:12 p.m. in the 14500 block of Potomac Mills Circle in Woodbridge. The police responded to investigate a fight with weapons call. When the officers arrived all the parties involved in the fight had left the scene. During the investigation the patrol officers were notified that a man had been transported to a local hospital with head injuries. The victim was struck on the head with a baseball bat during the fight by an unknown subject. The victim was identified as a 20-year-old man from Woodbridge. The investigation continues.

Malicious Wounding, occurred on November 20, 2009, around 9:30 p.m. in the area of Rosemary Drive and Sudley Road in Manassas. The police were called the 10700 block of Coverstone Drive in Manassas to investigate the stabbing of a man. The victim reported that he was walking in the area of Rosemary Drive and Sudley Road when he was approached by unknown subjects who stabbed him. The victim was flown to an area hospital with a stab wound to his stomach and lacerations on his head. The victim was identified as a 30-year-old man from Manassas. The investigation continues.
