Police reports: 11-23 evening

Arrests and incidents reported by police on Nov. 23

 

Arrests

Unlawful Wounding, occurred on November 21, 2009, around 8 p.m. in the 4400 block of Blue Jay Court in Woodbridge. The police arrested a 15-year-old boy from Woodbridge and charged him with unlawful wounding. The juvenile is accused of waving a knife towards the victim and cutting him on his left hand. The victim was identified as another 15-year-old boy from Woodbridge and was treated at a local hospital. The accused was released to a parent and will be having a hearing in the Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court.

Assault and Battery, occurred on November 20, 2009, around 11:50 p.m. in the 5400 block of Mapladale Plaza in Dale City. The police responded to a restaurant to investigate an assault. Arrested was Angela Renee Hepburn, 28, of Garndensen Drive in Woodbridge on the charge. Hepburn is accused of assaulting a 27-year-old woman from Woodbridge. Hepburn was released on her own recognizance and has a court date of January 19, 2010. The victim sustained minor injuries.

Incidents

Armed Robbery, occurred on November 23, 2009, around 4:40 a.m. at convenience store located in the 15700 block of Carrs Brooke Way in Dumfries. The store clerk reported two unknown subject entered the store, demanded money, then left the store with an undisclosed amount of cash. One of the suspects was armed with a shot gun. No one was injured during the robbery. The first suspect is described as a Black male, 18-28-years-old, approximately 5'6" tall, thin built, and was wearing a black jacket, black gloves, blue jeans, and a ski mask. The second suspect is described as a Black male, between 18-28-years-old, approximately 6'0" tall, thin built, and was wearing a black jacket, black glover, blue jeans, and a ski mask.

Carjacking, occurred on November 22, 2009, around 11:15 p.m. in the 16600 in the Harwood Oaks Court in Dumfries. The victim, a 20-year-old woman from Dumfries reported that she was approached by an unknown man who grabbed her by the arm, threatened her with a knife, and demanded her car key. The victim complied  with the suspect's orders.  The first suspect was joined by a second suspect then they left the scene in the victim's 1997, Jeep, Cherokee, black, in color. The first suspect is described as a Black male, between 18-22-years-old, approximately 5'6" tall, medium built, and was wearing a black sweater with a hoodie and black pants. The second suspect is described as a Black male, between 17-19-years-old, approximately 5'9" tall, medium built, black hair, and was wearing dark colored clothes. The victim was not injured during the incident.
