Arrests
Unlawful Entry, occurred on November 17, 2009, around 2:15 p.m. in the 8100 block of Meyers Road in Triangle. Arrested was Glenn L. Anderson, 29, of Amidon Avenue in Triangle on the charge. Anderson is accused of entering a house without authorization. Anderson was held without bond. The court date was not available.
Driving Under the Influence (DUI), Possession of Schedule II Substance (cocaine), Possession of Marijuana, occurred on November 14, 2009, around 12:39 a.. In the area of Jefferson Davis Highway and Gordon Boulevard in Woodbridge. A patrol officer conducted a traffic stop and arrested Warren Cooper Jr, 43, of Royal Oak Court, Odenton in Maryland on the charges. Initially Cooper was arrested for DUI, search incident to arrest the officer found the drugs in the vehicle that Cooper was driving. Cooper was held on $4,500 bond. The court date was not available.
Driving a Motor Vehicle-Felony Habitual Offender, Possession of Schedule II Substance (cocaine), occurred on November 13, 2009, around 10:56 p.m. in the area of Jefferson Davis Highway and Bel Air Road in Woodbridge. A patrol officer conducted a traffic stop and arrested Steven Karl Kowatch, 41, of Flotilla Way in Woodbridge on the charges. Initially Kowatch was arrested for driving a vehicle without a license as a habitual offender, search incident to arrest, the officer discovered that Kowatch was in possession of the drugs. Kowatch was held on $5,000 bond and has a court date of December 15, 2009.
Incidents
Shooting into an Occupied Dwelling, occurred on November 15, 2009, between 3:00-7:00 a.m. in the 13700 unit block of Jefferson Davis Highway in Woodbridge. The victim reported that when he woke up in the morning he noticed a hole in one of the bedrooms doors then he looked around and found a bullet on the ground. No one was injured during the incident.
Statutory Burglary, occurred on November 16, 2009, between 12:10-1:45 p.m. in the 4100 block of Granby Road in Woodbridge. A digital camera, a lap top computer, and a silver watch valued at $950 were stolen. Entry to the house was gained by breaking the glass of a rear window.
Grand Larceny of Auto, occurred between November 15, 2009, around 8:00 p.m. and November 16, 2009, around 8:00 a.m. in the 4400 block of Hartford Court in Woodbridge. A 1999, Ford, Contour, 4-door, silver in color, valued at $5,000 was stolen. The victim had parked her vehicle in front of her residence when it was stolen.
Grand Larceny From Auto, occurred between November 16, 2009, around 7:30 p.m. and November 17, 2009, around 9:00 a.m. in the 1300 block of Profit Court in Woodbridge. A stereo system was removed and stolen from the victim's 1998 Mitsubishi. Entry to the vehicle was gained by breaking a window.
Grand Larceny From Auto, occurred between November 17, 2009, around 10:00 p.m. and November 18, 2009, around 4:55 a.m. in the 12100 block of Beaverwood Place in Woodbridge. A pair of sunglasses and two air bags were stolen from a 2004, Honda, Odyssey. The total amount of the stolen property is $409. Entry to the vehicle van was gained by breaking a window.
Grand Larceny, occurred on November 17, 2009, between 1:00-8:00 a.m. in the 2200 block of West Longview Drive in Woodbridge. A 2009, Shenke Corp, moped, blue in color, valued at $1,078 was stolen. The victim had parked his moped in the driveway when it was stolen.
Grand Larceny, occurred between November 13, 2009, around 5:00 p.m. and November 14, 2009, around 12:00 p.m. in the 10400 block of Hudson Crest Drive in Woodbridge. The victim reported that a plum laser, a cordless drill and a round saw valued at $720 were stolen from his driveway. The victim left tools in a tool box unsecured.
Grand Larceny, occurred on November 16, 2009, between 7:00 a.m. and 7:10 p.m. in the parking lot of the VRE located at 10637 Piper Lane in Manassas. A catalytic converter was removed and stolen from the victim's 2002, Jeep, Cherokee. The incident occurred when the victim left his vehicle parked to go to work. The total amount of the stolen property is $500.
