Arrests and incidents reported by police on Nov. 17
Arrests
Grand Larceny, occurred on November 15, 2009, around 3:40 p.m. at a department store located in the 13700 block of Foulgers Square in Woodbridge. Arrested was Tabatha Mayenette Glass, 38, of McCorkle Court in Triangle on the charge. Glass is accused of walking out of the store without paying $450.21 in merchandise. Glass was held on $5,000 bond. The court date was not available.
Assault and Battery, occurred on November 16, 2009, around 5:15 p.m. in the area of Bixby road and Bowes Lane in Dale City. The police investigated an assault and arrested one man and obtained a warrant for a second man. Brandon Keith Washington, 21, of Bowes Lane in Woodbridge, was arrested and charged with assault and battery. A warrant for the arrest of Jose Adam Padilla, 23, 5'10" tall, 220 pounds, black hair, brown eyes, of Marquis Place in Woodbridge was obtained charging him with assault and battery. Washington and Padilla are accused of assaulting two boys, a 16 and 17 years old. The victims sustained minor injuries during the assault. Washington was held on $2,000 bond. The court date was not available.
Unlawful Wounding, occurred on November 15, 2009, around 2:40 p.m. in the area of Brandy Moor Loop and Blue Pool drive in Woodbridge. The victim, a 15-year-old boy from Woodbridge reported that he was assaulted by an acquaintance. The victim was punched in the face causing a laceration above his left eye. The victim was treated at a local hospital for his injuries. Petitions were obtained charging another 15-year-old boy from Woodbridge with unlawful wounding. The accused is going to have a hearing in the Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court.
Incidents
Attempted Strong-Arm Robbery, occurred on November 16, 2009, around 9:58 p.m. in the area of Seymour Drive and Campaign Court in Manassas. The victim, a 24-year-old woman from Manassas reported that she was walking home when two women attempted to rob her. The victim reported that the suspects approached her and demanded money. The suspects punched the victim in the face when she told them that she did not have any money. The suspects ran from the scene prior to the arrival of the police. The first suspect is described as a Black female, between 25-35-years-old, approximately 5'10" tall, heavy built, hair was styled in cornrows and was wearing a red sweater. The second suspect was described as a White female, between 2025-years-old, approximately 5'4" tall, thin built, and short straight black hair.
Statutory Burglary, occurred on November 16, 2009, between 10:00 p.m. and midnight at a bank located in the 13900 block of Jefferson Davis Highway in Woodbridge. It was reported to police that entry to an office from the bank was gained. A computer monitor was stolen. Entry to the office was gained by breaking a glass window.
Statutory Burglary, occurred between November 15, 2009, around 8:15 p.m. and November 16, 2009, around 5:15 a.m. at a church located in the 18800 block of Fuller Heights Road in Triangle. An office to the church was broken into but nothing was stolen. Entry was gained by breaking a glass window.
Grand Larceny, occurred on November 16, 2009, between 9:04-9:35 p.m. in the 12300 block of Antietam Road in Woodbridge. The victim reported that his 2009, moped, black in color, valued at $550 was stolen. The victim had secured his moped to the back of his van and had parked his vehicle in front of his residence.
Grand Larceny From Auto, occurred on November 16, 2009, around 2:00 a.m. in the 4300 block of Hemmingway Drive in Dale City. The victims reported that their three vehicles were broken into and their property was stolen. A GPS unit, two iPods, and an MP3 player were stolen. The total amount of the stolen property is $620. Entry to the three vehicles was gained by breaking a window from each vehicle.
Grand Larceny From Auto, occurred between November 14, 2009, around 8:00 p.m. and November 16, 2009, around 7:00 a.m. in the 14300 block of Silverdale Road in Dale City. A jackhammer, a GPS unit, and a saw valued at $3,550 were stolen from the victim's work truck. Entry to truck was gained by forcing a door open.
Grand Larceny, occurred on November 13, 2009, between 8:00-11;00 p.m. in the 14300 block of Sivlerdale Road in Dale City. The victim reported that eight cockatoos, four doves, two parakeets, and a lawn mower were stolen from her shed. The total amount of the stolen property is $2,100.
