Arrests and incidents reported by police on Nov. 13
Arrests
Peeping into an Occupied Dwelling, occurred on November 11, 2009, around 9:15 a.m. in the 2700 unit block of Yosocomico Lane in Woodbridge. The police responded to investigate a suspicious man looking into the windows of the apartments. When the officers arrived, they located the man and conducted the investigation. Arrested was Emanuel Jermaine Simmons, 26, of Cuddy Loop in Woodbridge on the charge. Simmons was released on $3,000 bond. The court date was not available.
Driving Under the Influence (DUI), Unreasonable Refusal, Possession f a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, Possession of a Firearm While in Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Robbery Tools, and Possession With intent to Distribute Marijuana, occurred on November 12, 2009, around 10:45 p.m. in the area of Prince William Parkway and Smoketown Road in Woodbridge. The police responded to investigate a reckless driver call. Arrested was Eugene Melvin Melchoir II, 26, of Xandu Court in Fredericksburg on the named charges. Initially Melchoir was arrested for DUI, search incident to arrest, the officers found several ski masks, a hand gun, marijuana, and gloves. Melchoir was held without bond. The court date was not available.
Incidents
Statutory Burglary, occurred between November 10, 2009, around 9:30 p.m. and November 11, 2009, around 9:30 a.m. in the 6000 block of River Forest Drive in Manassas. A backpack leaf blower and a pole pruner were stolen from the victim's garage. The total amount of the stolen property is $600. Entry to the garage was gained by forcing the door open.
Grand Larceny of Auto, occurred between November 11, 2009, around 7:00 p.m. and November 12, 2009, around 6;15 a.m. in the area of Kentwood Lane and Kerrydale Road in Woodbridge. Two victims reported that their work trucks were broken into and their tools were stolen. The first victim reported that two nailers, a narrow crown stapler, two drills, a sander, saws, plumbing tools, and other miscellaneous tools were stolen. The second victim reported that three saws, a sander, a cable router, a cordless drill, an impact tool, an electric drill, and a cable bisket joiner were stolen. The estimated amount of stolen property is over $5,000. Entry to the trucks was gained by forcing the locked doors open.
Grand Larceny, occurred between November 11, 2009, around 11:00 p.m. and November 12, 2009, around 11;00 a.m. in the 13100 block of Opal Lane in Woodbridge. The victim reported that he had parked his storage trailer in his driveway when it was broken into and his work tools stolen. Three saws, a rotary laser level, hand planer, two nailers, a heavy duty angle nailer, an 18-volt battery, and an air compressor were some of the items that were stolen. The total amount of the stolen property is $5,713.
Unlawful Entry, occurred between November 10, 2009, around 6:00 p.m. and November 11, 2009, around 8:30 a.m. in the 15000 block of Concord Drive in Woodbridge. The victim reported that he purchased a house and left his carpentry tools inside because he is doing some renovations. When the victim returned the following day, his tools had been stolen. The total amount of the stolen property is $1,250. There were no signs of forced entry to the house.
Grand Larceny of Auto, occurred on November 9, 2009, around 11:00 p.m. in the 1300 block of Kimbrough Lane in Dale City. A 1996, Saturn, Sx, 4-door, green in color, valued at $3,000 was stolen. The victim had parked his vehicle in front of his residence and woke up when he heard a car door shutting. The victim looked out the window and observed when an unknown subject was driving his vehicle away.
Grand Larceny of Auto, occurred between November 9, 2009, around 7:00 p.m. and November 10, 2009, around 8:00 a.m. in the 4300 unit block of Whitmer Drive in Woodbridge. A 1993, Toyota, Camry, 4-door, red in color, valued at $1,500 was stolen. The victim had parked his vehicle in the parking lot of his apartment building when it was stolen.
Grand Larceny of Auto, occurred on November 11, 2009, around 6:00 p.m. in the 14300 block of Westminister Lane in Dale City. A 2000, toyota, Camry, 4-door, beige in color, valued at $5,000 was stolen. The victim was delivering pizzas when his vehicle was stolen.
