Arrests and incidents reported by police on Nov. 7

Arrests

Possession of Burglarious Tools, Petit Larceny, Intoxicated in Public, Tampering With Auto, occurred on November 4, 2009, around 2:20 a.m. in the 13800 block of Gilbert Road in Dale City.  The police responded to investigate a larceny in progress call.  It was reported to police that there were unknown subjects looking for vehicles that were left with the doors unlocked.  When the officers arrived the subjects took off running.  After a short foot pursuit one of the subjects was taken into custody.  The subject was identified as Jerome Earl Jones, 22, ofGilbert Road in Dale City.  Jones is accused of ransacking a 2005, Scion, and stealing the spare key that was in the vehicle.  Court date was not available.  

Possession of Schedule I Substance (PCP), Driving Under the Influence of Drugs (DUID), Possession of Marijuana, occurred on November 4, 2009, around 8:28 p.m., in the area of Bristow Road and Shelving Court in Nokesville.  A patrol officer conducted a traffic stop and arrested Arthur Jason Hill, 37, of Martin Drive in Manassas Park on the charges.  Search incident to arrest, the officer found drugs in the vehicle that Hill was driving.  Hill was held on $9,000 bond and a scheduled court date of January 12, 2009.

Possession of Ecstasy, Possession of Marijuana, occurred on November 5, 2009, around 12:36 a.m. in the 15000 block of Blackburn Road in Woodbridge.  The police were investigating an unrelated incident when Bernard Danny Green, 31, of Blackburn Road was arrested and charged with the above named offenses.  Green was held on $5,000 bond.  The court date was not available.  

Malicious Wounding, occurred on November 5, 2009, around 6:24 p.m. in the 18000 block of Fraley Boulevard in Dumfries.  The police responded to investigate an assault.  When the officers arrived they found an adult male, lying on the ground suffering from head injuries.  The victim was flown to an area hospital.  During the investigation the identity of suspect was developed and the look out was broadcast.  A patrol officer observed the accused walking on Jefferson Davis Highway. The accused was detained, identified, and subsequently arrested.  John Paul Riley, 24, of no fixed address was charged with malicious wounding and held without bond.  The court date was not available.

Concealment of Merchandise, occurred on November 5, 2009, around 3:30 p.m. at a hardware store located in the 14000 block of Foulgers Square in Woodbridge.  Arrested was Henry Eugene Brandsome Jr., 36, of Joplin Street, Capitol Heights, Maryland, on the charge.  Brandsome is accused of concealing numerous plumbing material items underneath his clothes and attempting to walk out of the store without paying for them.  A total of $252.55 in merchandise was recovered.   Brandsome was held on $5,000 bond. The court date was not available.

Filing a False Police Report, occurred on November 5, 2009, around 2:42 a.m. in the 18200 block of Junior Lane in Dumfries.  The police responded to investigate a burglary in progress call.  When the officers arrived and investigated the alleged burglary it was discovered that the accused had falsely summoned the police.  A warrant for the arrest of Katherine E. Parr, 22, of Junior Ginn Lane, was obtained charging her with filing a false police report. Parr was taken into custody then was released on $2,500 unsecured bond.  The court date was not available.

Possession of Stolen Goods, Grand Larceny, occurred on November 6, 2009, around midnight in the 1400 block of Bayside Avenue in Woodbridge.  The police responded to investigate a larceny from auto call.  The callers reported they observed a man looking into parked vehicles, they heard the sound of glass break, then observed the suspect remove construction tools from the victim's vehicle.  The suspect placed the tools in his vehicle.  During the investigation, the suspect's vehicle was located and his identity was developed.  The accused was observed when he walked out of his residence.  Walther Jehovany Ortiz Villalobos, 27, of Bayside Avenue was arrested and charged with the above named offenses.  Villalobos was held on $5,000 bond.  The court date was not available.  In addition to the constructions tools that were recovered, the officers also recovered car stereos, and an amplifier.  The construction tools were returned to the victim.  

Incidents

Armed Robbery, occurred on November 5, 2009, around 8:30 p.m. in the 12700 block of Tadworth Place in Woodbridge. The victims reported that they were sitting inside a vehicle when they were approached by two men.  The suspects opened the doors of the vehicles and demanded money.  One of the suspects was armed with a gun.  The victims were relieved of personal documents, a wallet, and cigarettes.  The victims were identified as 22-year-old man from Nokesville and an 18-year-old woman from Woodbridge.  The first suspect is described as Black male, between 20-25-years-old, approximately 5'11 tall, thin built, and was wearing a black hoodie, and jeans, and cornrows as his hairstyle.  The second suspect is described as a Black male and was wearing a red and black hoodie.  The suspects ran from the scene prior to the arrival of the police.  The victims were not injured during the robbery.  

Grand Larceny of Auto, occurred on November 5, 2009, around 7:35 a.m. in the 12500 block of Oakwood Drive in Dale City.  A 2003, Toyota, corolla, 4-door, beige in color, valued at $3,500 was stolen.  The victim left with vehicle with the key in the ignition, running, and unattended.  When the victim returned, the vehicle had been stolen.

Grand Larceny of Auto, occurred between November 3, 2009, around 6:00 p.m. and November 4, 2009 around 6:15 a.m. in the 12800 block of Cara Drive in Woodbridge.  A 2006, Toyota, Solara, 2-door, light blue in color, valued at $15,000 was stolen.  The vehicle was parked in front of the victim's residence when it was stolen.

Grand Larceny of Auto, occurred on November 4, 2009, around 5:00 a.m. in the 4500 block of Hendricks Drive in Dale City.  A 1996, Toyota, Corolla, 4-door, tan in color, valued at $1,500 was stolen.  The victim left his vehicle with the key in the ignition, running to warm it up, and when he returned it had been stolen.

Grand Larceny of Auto, occurred on November 3, 2009, around 6:30 a.m. in the 14500 unit block of Piccolo Lane in Woodbridge.  A 2007, Honda, Accord, 4-door, gray in color, valued at $10,000, was stolen.  The victim left her vehicle with the key in the ignition and unattended.  When the victim returned, she observed a Black male driving her vehicle away from the apartment building parking lot.

Attempted Statutory Burglary, occurred between October 31, 2009, around 4:30 p.m. and November 2, 2009, around 9:00 a.m. at Featherstone Elementary School located at 14805 Blackburn Road in Woodbridge.  It was reported to police that  a window was broken and several windows were tampered with.  Entry was not gained to the school and nothing was stolen.

Statutory Burglary, occurred between November 3, 2009, around 6:30 p.m. and November 4, 2009, around 7:00 a.m. at a construction site located in the 16800 block of Adrift Court in Woodbridge.  A refrigerator valued at $1,000 was stolen from a new built house.  There were no signs of forced entry to the house.

Statutory Burglary, occurred on November 4, 2009, between 10:00 a.m. and 10:30 p.m. in the 15000 block of Blackburn Road in Woodbridge.  A Pit-Bull puppy, three video game systems, a flat screen television, a keyboard, and a red duffle bag were stolen.  The total amount of the stolen property is $4,850.  Entry was gained by forcing a basement door open.

Statutory Burglary, occurred between October 31, 2009, around 6:30 p.m. and November 1, 2009, around 8:00 a.m. in the 7900 in the 7900 block of Crescent Park Drive in Gainesville.  Cash, a lap top computer, and printer were stolen from the victim's business.  The total amount of the stolen property is $2,350.  Entry to the business was gained by breaking the front glass door.

Statutory Burglary, occurred between October 31, 2009, unk time, and November 1, 2009, around 9:40 a.m., at a cleaners located in the 7500 block of Old Linton Hall Road in Gainesville. Two cash registers with the money in them were stolen from the business. The total amount of the stolen property is $1,300.  Entry to the business was gained by breaking the front glass door.  

Statutory Burglary, occurred on November 2, 2009, around 9:50 a.m. in the 14100 block of Carmody Place in Woodbridge.  The police responded to investigate a burglary in progress call.  When the officers arrived the suspects ran from the scene.  Entry was gained by breaking the glass of a door.  Jewelry and other miscellaneous items valued at $551 were stolen.  The suspects are described as three Black males, between 18-22-years-old, wearing dark colored clothes.  One of the suspects was carrying a black back pack.
