Police ID driver killed in crash
The driver involved in the fatal crash that occurred on May 17, 2009, around 8:07 p.m. at Fuller Heights and Perry Street in Dumfries has been identified as Jane Elaine Reichley, 60, of Belleau Wood Drive in Triangle. The investigation continues.
Reichley was driving a 2002 Hyundai Accent eastbound on Fuller Heights Road approaching the intersection with Perry Street and for unknown reasons, she began to lose control of her vehicle. She then collided with a stop sign at the corner of Perry Street and Fuller Heights Road and continued to drive on Perry Street towards a tree line, striking a tree. The driver was identified as a 60-year-old woman from Triangle and she died at the scene.
