Arrests and incidents reported by police on June 26


Arrests

Possession of Schedule III Substance (hydrocodone), Possession of Marijuana 1/2 ounce or more, occurred on June 20, 2009, around 12:06 p.m. on Cavalier Drive in Lake Ridge. The police arrested a 15-year-old male with the named charges. The arrest occurred when the officers were investigating a domestic related incident involving the juvenile and his father. The juvenile had left his residence and was staying with friends, the officers went to look for him so they could bring him home. The juvenile was transported to a group home and he will be having a hearing in the Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court.

Statutory Burglary, occurred on June 22, 2009, around 8:15 p.m. on Beale Court in Dale City. The police investigated a burglary. It was reported to police that two subjects had kicked the front door of the victim's home and forced their way into the house. When the officers arrived the accused had left the scene. Warrants were obtained for Ronnie Lee Carrington.

Incidents

Brandishing of a Firearm, occurred on June 25, 2009, around 6:40 p.m in the area of Occoquan Road and Horner Road in Woodbridge. The victim, a 23-year-old man from Waldorf, Maryland, reported that he had been involved in a road rage incident with the suspect. The victim reported that he suspect attempted to run him off the road several times. The victim reported the suspect got out of his van, walked to the rear of the van and retrieved a hand gun. The suspect then pointed the gun at him. The victim drove way and call the police. The victim was not injured during the incident. The suspect is described as an adult White male, thinly built, tall, and was wearing a green work shirt.

Statutory Burglary, occurred on June 23, 2009, between 7:15 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. in the 13500 block of Green Drive in Woodbridge. The victim reported that when he returned home from work, he noticed that his front door had been tampered with. Two lap top computers, a television, jewelry, a sound system, a video game system, a digital camera, liquor, and sports' clothes were stolen. The total amount of the stolen property is $14,770. Entry to the house was gained by forcing a rear door open.

Statutory Burglary, occurred between June 21, 2009, around 11:30 p.m. and June 22, 2009, around 6:00 a.m. at gas station located in the 13200 block of Trowbridge Drive in Dale City. The store owner reported that his business had been burglarized over night. During the burglary a large amount of cash was stolen. In addition access was gained to the ATM stealing the money as well. Entry to the business was gained by forcing a rear door open.

Statutory Burglary, occurred on June 24, 2009, between 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. in the 6100 block of Plainville Lane in Dale City. A 32-inch flat screen television was stolen from the victim's home. The total amount of the stolen property is $300 . There were no signs of forced entry to the house.

Attempted Statutory Burglary, occurred between June 23, 2009, around 6:00 p.m. and June 25, 2009, around 5:00 p.m. in the 9700 block of Maitland Loop in Bristow. The victim reported that he was out of town and when he returned, he found his front door tampered with. Entry was not gained to the house and nothing was stolen.

Attempted Grand Larceny, occurred between June 24, 2009, around 7:30 p.m. and June 25, 2009, around 7:00 a.m. in the 9700 block of Sudley Manor Drive in Manassas. The victim reported someone had attempted to steal his 2005, Suzuki, Katana, motorcycle. The victim had parked his motorcycle in the driveway and in morning he found at a different location.

Statutory Burglary, occurred on June 25, 2009, between 8:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. in the 14200 block of Madrigal Drive in Dale City. The victim reported that he returned home and found out that his house had been ransacked and property stolen. A black revolver, two silver antique chests, coins, a digital camera, a German decorative with a wood handle, and a Saudi Arabian dagger with brass hook and brass handle valued at $1,775 were stolen. Entry to the house was gained by forcing a rear door open.

Grand Larceny, occurred on June 25, 2009, around 5:32 a.m. at a hotel parking lot located in the 1100 block of Horner Road in Woodbridge. The victim reported his 2004, Dodge, Ram1500, truck, white in color was stolen from the hotel's parking lot. Three racing bicycles that were on bed of the truck were also taken. The victim had also attached a hauling trailer to his truck and inside his truck he was transporting a 2005, Honda, CRV600, motorcycle, black in color and the riding protective gear. All the property was stolen and it was valued at $44,794.

Grand Larceny From Auto, occurred between June 24, 2009, around 8:00 p.m. and June 25, 2009, around 7:15 a.m. in the 14000 block of Telegraph Road in Woodbridge. A lap top computer, a GPS unit, a portable XM radio, two brief cases with documents, and a cell phone were stolen form the victim's 1997, Chevrolet, Suburban. The total amount of the stolen property is $2,098. Entry was gained by breaking a window.

Grand Larceny, occurred on June 25, 2009, around 12:00 p.m. in the 13700 block of Kaywood Drive in Dale City. The victim reported that his underground utility located was stolen from his work truck. The victim was working and walked to the rear of a house to check the area and when he returned the utility located valued at $3,000 was missing.
