Burglarized homes
A house located in the 14300 block of North Park Court on 01-19-09.
A second house located 14300 block of North Park Court in Dale City (one time on 06-12-09 and a second time on 06-18-09).
An apartment located in the 14300 unit block of Westminister Lane in Dale City on 03-23-09.
On 06-18-09, at approximately 9:15 a.m., patrol officers and detectives from the Burglary Unit were patrolling North Park Court in Dale City due to several burglaries that have occurred in the area. A detective observed the accused in the second floor of a townhouse. The detectives and the officers entered the residence and found the accused hiding in the upper level of the townhouse. The accused was taken into custody.
On 06-12-09, the victim's neighbor observed a suspicious person inside a townhouse located in the 14300 block of North Park Court. The citizen knew that the homeowner was out of town and no one should be in the residence. The citizen entered the residence and confronted the man. The man ran from the residence and the citizen was not harmed.
On 03-23-09, an apartment located in the 14300 block of Westminister Lane was burglarized. During the burglary a lap top and credit cards were stolen. The credit cards were lated used to make fraudulent transactions.
On 01-19-09, a house located in the 14300 North Park Court was burglarized. During the burglary a video game system was stolen. The stolen item was later pawned.
During the investigation, the identity of the accused was developed. Brown is accused of entering the victims' houses through an unlocked door/window or by forcing his way in. It is unknown at this time the total amount of items stolen by Brown however some of the items were pawned. Brown was held without bond and has a court date of August 4, 2009. The investigation continues.
