Arrests and incidents reported by police on June 17


Arrests:

 

Brandishing of a Firearm, occurred on June 16, 200, around 4:17 p.m. in Stockholm Way in Woodbridge. Police responded to a brandishing call and arrested Donzell A. Murphy, 47, of Stockholm Way in Woodbridge, on the charge. The victim, a 50-year-old Manassas area man, reported that he was at the house to show the property to some clients. The victim said that when he approached the front door, Murphy told them they could not come in, then went into the house and returned with what they believed was a shotgun. It turned out to be a BB gun, and no one was injured during the incident. Murphy was given a $2,500 bond and has a court date of July 27, 2009.

 

Abduction, occurred on June 14, 2009, around 3 p.m. in the 2800 block of Dale Boulerd in Dale City. The victim – a 32-year-old King George woman – reported that an acquaintance asked her to meet him in a store parking lot then forced her to get into his vehicle. The victim said she was not allowed to leave the vehicle for a period of time but was eventually released unharmed. Police arrested Demetrius M. Golden, 34, of Sedgewick Court in King George, ., on the charge. He was given a $2,000 bond and will have a hearing in Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court.

 

Possession of Marijuana With Intent to Distribute, occurred on June 15, 2009, around 11:36 p.m. on Old Bridge Road at Antietam Road in Lake Ridge. Police conducted a traffic stop and, in a search incident to arrest, located narcotics packaged for distribution. Arrested was Francesco M. Basile, 19, of Pheasant Hunt Road in Lake Ridge, on the charge. He was held on a $2,000 bond. Information on a court date was not ailable.

 

Incidents:

 

Grand Larceny, occurred between June 13, 2009, around 6 p.m. and June 14, 2009, around 1:30 p.m. in the 1700 block of Horner Road in Woodbridge. The victim reported that a white, mixed-breed dog named Peaches was stolen from the residence rear yard. The dog has access to the house and a fenced rear yard via a dog door. The total amount of property stolen is $250.

 

Grand Larceny, occurred on June 16, 2009, between 10 a.m. and midnight in the 2000 block of Germander Way in Woodbridge. The victim reported that a handgun and holster, a video game and jewelry were stolen from the residence. There was no sign of forced entry. The total amount of property stolen is $670.

 

Grand Larceny of Auto, occurred between June 6, 2009, around 9 a.m. and June 14, 2009, around 10 a.m. in the 14200 block of Fisher Avenue in Woodbridge. The victim reported that a red 1998 Lincoln Navigator SUV was stolen from the residence yard. The total amount of property stolen is $7,000.

 

Grand Larceny of Auto, occurred between June 15, 2009, around 7:30 p.m. and June 16, 2009, around 7:30 a.m. in the 17900 block of Swans Creek Lane in Dumfries. The victim reported that a black 2008 Lincoln Mark LT pick-up truck was stolen from the residence driveway. The total amount of property stolen is $30,000.

 

Grand Larceny of Motorcycle, occurred on June 15, 2009, between 3 a.m. and 9 a.m. in the 15200 unit block of Brickwood Drive in Dale City. The victim reported that a blue 2006 Yamaha R1 motorcycle was stolen from the residence parking lot. The total amount of property stolen is $9,000.

 

Grand Larceny from Auto, occurred between June 13, 2009, around 7 p.m. and June 16, 2009, around 10 p.m. in the 13300 block of Pelican Road in Dale City. The victim reported that a handgun and ammunition were stolen from the vehicle, which was parked at the residence. There were no signs of forced entry. The total amount of property stolen is $170.

 

Statutory Burglary and Grand Larceny, occurred on June 15, 2009, between 6:30 a.m. and 3:55 p.m. in the 1800 unit block of Gableridge Turn in Woodbridge. The victim reported that two handguns, a TV, a Blu-Ray player and a videogame system were stolen from the residence. A front window was broken to gain entry. The total amount of property stolen is $2,850.

 

Statutory Burglary and Grand Larceny, occurred between June 14, 2009, around 10 p.m. and June 15, 2009, around 4 p.m. in the 3800 block of Findley Road in Dale City. The victim reported that a safe, a machete and several boxes of ammunition were stolen from the residence. A rear window was broken to gain entry. The total amount of property stolen is $600.

 

Statutory Burglary and Grand Larceny, occurred on June 16, 2009, between 8:15 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. in the 13800 block of Londonderry Court in Dale City. The victim reported that a laptop computer was stolen from the residence. A rear door was broken to gain entry. The total amount of property stolen is $700.

 

Statutory Burglary and Grand Larceny, occurred on June 16, 2009, between 6:30 p.m. and 9:46 p.m. in the 13800 block of Meadowbrook Road in Dale City. The victim reported that a handgun, a videogame system, and a DVD player were stolen from the residence. A rear window was broken to gain entry. The total amount of property stolen is $1,300.

 

Statutory Burglary and Grand Larceny, occurred on June 15, 2009, between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. in the 15100 block of Georgia Road in Woodbridge. The victim reported that several purses, a video game system, shoes, jewelry and cash were stolen from the residence. There were no signs of forced entry. The total amount of property stolen is $3,566.

 

Statutory Burglary, occurred on June 15, 2009, around 4:50 a.m. in the 18300 block of Chestnut Drive in Triangle. The victim reported that an acquaintance opened a window and entered the home, ranting and yelling and making threats. The man left the residence without harming anyone. Police are looking for a black male between the ages of 40 and 43. He has a medium build; about 5’9” and weighing approximately 200 pounds.  He was not wearing a shirt and had on unknown colored shorts at the time of the incident. He has a five-inch scar on the left side of his head.

 

Statutory Burglary, occurred on June16, 2009, between 8 a.m. and 9 p.m. in the 4900 block of Linsey Court in Dale City. The victim reported that a rear bedroom window was broken to gain entry.

Statutory Burglary, occurred on June 16, 2009, between 10:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. in the 13700 block of Langley Court in Dale City. The victim reported that a rear door was broken to gain entry.

 

Attempted Breaking and Entering, occurred on June 16, 2009, between 10:50 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. in the 4600 block of Bonneville Lane in Dale City. The victim reported that a rear basement window was broken in an attempt to gain entry.
