Curry's Auto Service gets 'Female Friendly' certification

Curry’s Auto Service in Gainesville is now "Certified Female Friendly.” Curry’s family-run business is the first auto service center in Virginia to complete training designed by AskPatty.com, a national program created to provide women with information on auto purchases, repairs and maintenance.

Curry's operates five facilities in Northern Virginia: Arlington, Chantilly, Falls Church, Gainesville, and Reston/Great Falls. Along with the training and certification, Curry’s Auto Service has enhanced its Web site to reinforce their commitment to the Ask Patty program. The new Web site can be accessed by clicking on the “Certified Female Friendly” icon on Curry’s homepage at www.currysauto.com.

The certified service centers are those that “create an inviting and comfortable environment where women feel welcome,” according to Jody DeVere, CEO and founder of the Ask Patty program.

Curry's president and founder, Matt Curry, said in a written statement that his service centers offer waiting areas with toys for toddlers, a Play Station 2, free shuttle service and Wi-Fi connections.

For details, call Curry’s at 888- 8Currys.
