Arrests
Grand Larceny 2x, occurred on July 1, 2009, around 5:45 p.m. at a department store located in the 13700 block of Foulgers Square in Woodbridge. The police responded to investigate a shoplifting-in-progress call. Arrested were Jocsan Embil Gonzalez Sanchez, 23, and Leslie Victoria Gonzalez, 23, both residing at Tadworth Place in Woodbridge on the charge. They are accused of walking out of the store without paying $299.99 in merchandise. Gonzalez Sanchez and Gonzalez were each released on $3,000 unsecured bond and have a court date of August 28, 2009.
Threatening Phone Calls, occurred on July 1, 2009, around 7:25 p.m. in the 13200 block of Armstead Street in Woodbridge. Arrested was Shannon Marie Duffy, 29, of Dover Court in Alexandria on the charge. Duffy is accused of calling the victim and leaving threatening messages on her voice male. Duffy and the victim, a 20-year-old woman are acquaintances. Duffy was released on $2,000 bond. The court date was not available.
Grand Larceny (auto) 2x, Grand Larceny, occurred on July 1, 2009, around 5:00 a.m. in the area of Spring Branch an d Sugarbush Road in Montclair. The victim reported that his wife told him that their vehicle, a 2000, Nissan, Sentra, 4-door, green in color had been stolen. The victims had parked their vehicle near their residence and the wife noticed that it had been stolen when she was walking their dog. The (male ) victim got into another vehicle and began to look for the Sentra. He found his vehicle parked and was occupied by a woman and a man. The victim attempted to make contact with the accused but they fled on foot. The victim chased the accused but was not able to catch up to them. A look out was broadcast and other patrol officers found the accused in the area of Tmber Ridge Road. The accused were detained and identified. The female was identified as a 17-year-old girl of no fixed address, and the male was identified as Bruce Allen Facundus IV, 18, of Daybreak Lane in Woodbridge. The female and Facundus were each charged with one count of grand larceny for stealing the Nissan Sentra. Search incident to arrest the officer found two GPS units in the purse belonging to the female. She was additionally charged with one count of grand larceny. The investigation revealed that the accused and the victims knew each other and they had stolen the vehicle key when they had visited the victims a while ago. Facundus was held on $7,500 bond. The female was transported to the Juvenile Detention Center. Court date for the accused was not available. The recovered stolen vehicle was returned to the owners.
Grand Larceny 2x, Obstruction of Justice 2x, occurred on June 30, 2009, around 4:30 p.m. at B.J.'s Wholesale located at 14123 Noblewood Plaza in Dale City. A look-out was broad cast in reference to the larceny of two flat screen televisions that had occurred at B.J.'s. Officer K.L. Wallace was traveling on Smoketown Road when he observed the vehicle that the suspects were driving. Officer Wallace stopped the vehicle at Prince William Parkway and Shoppers Best Way. The passenger, later identified as Robert Alfonzo Jesse Mack, 29, of 4865 Langer Lane in Woodbridge, exited the vehicle and ran from the scene. The driver, later identified as Kristin Maree Burke, 23, of Fairfax Street in Manassas City drove away. Officer Wallace got back into his police car and followed Mack who was running toward Potomac Mills Circle in the area of the Wal-Mart parking lot. A foot pursuit ensued and Mack surrendered as Officer Wallace continued to get closer. Mack was taken into custody without further incidents. Moments later, the vehicle that Burke was driving was found at the Macaroni Grill's parking lot that is off the Prince William Parkway. Then the police received information that Burke had entered a storage facility. Burke was found hiding in a storage area on the third floor and was taken into custody. Mack was held on $60,000 bond and Burke was held on $7,500 bond. The court date was not available.
Incidents
Strong-Arm Robbery, occurred on July 1, 2009, around 6:30 p.m in the 2800 block of Dale Boulevard in Woodbridge. The victim, a 59-year-old woman from Woodbridge reported that an unknown man approached her and snatch her purse. The victim was standing near her vehicle, bent to reach for something she dropped, and had her purse on her right arm. The suspect knocked the victim to the ground then fled the scene. The victim was not injured. The victim was not able to provide a description of the suspect. The victim reported that she was on her way to the bank and had a large sum of cash in her purse when the robbery occurred.
Unauthorized Use of Auto, occurred on July 2, 2009, around 12:50 a.m. in the 14300 block of Westminster drive in Dale City. The victim reported that an acquaintance took his 2005, Ford, Focus, without his authorization. A warrant for the arrest of Jacqueline Dunkley, 47, of 14347 Westminster Drive was obtained for unauthorized use. Dunkley is a Black female, 47-years-old, 5'7" tall, 215 pounds, brown hair, and brown eyes.
Throwing Missiles at an Occupied Vehicle, occurred on July 2, 2009, around 1:45 a.m. in the 12400 block of Dillingham Square in Lake Ridge. The victim, a 21-year-old woman from Woodbridge reported that she was walking out of a restaurant towards her vehicle when it was struck with a beer bottle. The victim reported that she entered her vehicle and a group of women attempted to gain entry to her vehicle by forcing the door open. The victim was able to drive away. The estimated damage to the victim's 2008, BMW, X3, was approximately $1,000. No one was injured during the incident.
Throwing Missiles at an Occupied Dwelling, occurred between June 30, 2009, around 10:00 a.m. and July 1, 2009, around 7:00 a.m. in the 11700 block of Crest Maple Drive in Lake Ridge. The victim reported that sometime over night a window of his residence was struck with an unknown object breaking the outer glass pane. No one was injured during the incident.
Statutory Burglary, occurred on June 30, 2009, between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. in the 19100 block of Windsor Road in Triangle. The victim reported that when he returned to his residence he noticed that some items had been stolen. A video game system, video games, and baseball collector cards valued at $540 were stolen. Entry to the house was gained through an unlocked door.
Statutory Burglary, occurred on July 1, 2009, between 10:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. in the 4300 block of Evergreen Drive in Woodbridge. A lap top computer, three gold bracelets, and three gold necklaces were stolen from the victim's house. The total amount of the stolen property is $1,049.99. Entry to the house was gained by breaking the glass of a kitchen window.
Grand Larceny of Auto, occurred on July 2, 2009, around 1:40 a.m. in the 3900 block of Pearlberry Court in Dale City. A 1993, Honda, Civic, 2-door, gray in color, valued at $2,000. The victim had parked his vehicle in front of his residence when it was stolen.
