Adult education program awarded Walmart grant

Walmart’s new store at Manassas Mall recently awarded a $2,500 grant to the Prince William County Public Schools Adult Education Program.

Georgia Knepp, store manager, presented the award to adult education coordinator Bette Sneed.

The grant will support the state's Race to GED initiative to increase the number of people earning their General Educational Development (GED) Certificate, thereby helping to provide a better-educated workforce.
