Golden Ticket has been found

With only a few days left before the Christmas Parade, the illusive Golden Ticket has been found.

Manassas attorney Greg Stambaugh and his wife Julie found the Golden Ticket in a chocolate bar purchased at Opera House Gourmet, said Steve Urry of Historic Manassas Inc.

For several weeks, the Merry Old Town Chocolate Bars have been sold at participating merchants in Old Town Manassas. One milk chocolate bar contained the Golden Ticket, which entitles the finder to be Santa’s guest on his float in the 64th annual Greater Manassas Christmas Parade.

The Stambaughs have given the ticket to their twin granddaughters, Kaylee and Madison Burg, who will ride on Santa's float in the parade.

They'll also be honored guests on Friday night, when Santa will introduce them to the crowd as he lights the city's Christmas tree in Old Town.
