Battlefield blanks Stonewall in Battle of Bull Run

Battlefield defeated Stonewall Jackson 29-0 Thursday night in Haymarket at the annual Battle of Bull Run varsity football game.
The first district game for either team this seaosn kept Battlefield (4-0) on an opposite trajectory than Stonewall (0-4) as the Bobcats have not lost a Cedar Run game since 2006 while the Raiders, with star running back Damien Thigpen sidelined due to injury, are still search for their first win.
Scores for Battlefield included a screen pass from quarterback Bo Revell to Cooper Bull in the first quarter, a 64-yard interception return by linebacker Zavier Stringfellow, a botched snap on a punt attempt that went through the end zone for a safety on Stonewall Jackson, and two rushing touchdowns - including a 69-yard scamper - for running back Adrian Ingram in the fourth quarter.
