Police reports: 11-25 evening

Arrests and incidents reported by police on Nov. 25

Arrest:

Malicious Wounding, occurred on November 24, 2008, around 2:30 a.m. in the 1200 block of East Longview Drive in Woodbridge. The victim, a 47-year-old Alexandria man, said he and an acquaintance were arguing in a vehicle when he was stabbed in the hand with a knife. The victim was treated by the Department of Fire & Rescue at the scene. Police arrested Kendra Geter, 36, of Bayside Ave. in Woodbridge, on the charge. Bond and court information were not available.

Incidents:

Armed Robbery, occurred on November 24, 2008, around 7:37 p.m. at a motel in the 17000 block of Dumfries Road in Dumfries. The victim, a 29-year-old woman who is employed by the motel, reported that two men entered the motel lobby, approached the counter and demanded money. One of the men displayed a knife. After taking money and a cell phone, the two men ran from the motel lobby. The first suspect is described as a black male between the ages of 40 and 50. He had a heavy build – about 5’9” and weighed approximately 200 pounds. He had brown eyes and a mole near his nose, and was wearing a blue jacket with a white stripe on the back and a blue and white baseball cap at the time of the incident.  The other suspect was described as a black male between the ages of 30 and 40. He had a thin build – about 5’9” and weighed approximately 160 pounds. He had brown eyes and was wearing a tan jacket and a tan hat at the time of the incident. The victim was not harmed.

Grand Larceny, occurred on November 17, 2008, around 4 p.m. at a fire station in the 3100 block of Prince William Parkway in Dale City. The victim reported that an EMS fire gear coat was stolen from an ambulance that was parked at the location. It is unknown how entry was gained. The total amount of property stolen is $630.

Grand Larceny from Auto, occurred between November 21, 2008, around 7 p.m. and November 24, 2008, around 7:30 a.m. in the 14100 block of Cove Landing Drive in Wooodbridge. The victim reported two front seats and a stereo were stolen from the vehicle, which was parked at the residence. The driver’s side door was pried to gain entry. The total amount of property stolen is $450.

Attempted Grand Larceny, occurred on November 24, 2008, around 6:15 p.m. at a store in the 2400 block of Prince William Parkway in Woodbridge. The victim reported that a man entered the store, picked up a sound system, and attempted to walk out without paying for it. When store personnel confronted the man, he dropped the item, ran to a waiting vehicle and left. The man is described as being between the ages of 20 and 25. He had a thin build – about 5’7” and weighed approximately 170 pounds. He was wearing blue jeans, a gray hooded sweatshirt and a black hat at the time of the incident. There is no further description of him.

Attempted Grand Larceny of Auto, occurred on November 24, 2008, around 6 a.m. in the1800 block of Heather Glen Court in Woodbridge. The victim reported that someone attempted to steal her car, which was left running and unattended in the residence driveway. The individual backed it out of the driveway but fled for an unknown reason without taking the car.
