Four arrested in Haymarket for disturbance

On 11-09-08 at approximately 6:58 a.m., police officers responded to Loftridge Lane in Haymarket to investigate a firearms violation complaint.  When the officers arrived, they detained three men and two women for further investigation. Some of the individuals that were detained began to act in a disorderly manner. One of the men later identified as Axel Haroldo Reyes began to fight the officers.

During the investigation, the officers learned that two additional females were inside the residence.  After many efforts by the officers, the women surrendered to the police.  However it was discovered that they did not have any involvement in the incident and were released.

The investigation revealed that a group of men and women were arguing outside of the residence.  During that argument Reyes was holding a hand gun and fired some rounds into the air.  No one was injured during the shooting.  At the end of the investigation four people were arrested.  They all have a scheduled court dated of 01-20-09.
