Brentsville girls shutout Millbrook in soccer semis

Brentsville District earned a spot in the Northwestern District championship game with a 5-0 shutout of Millbrook Tuesday night in Nokesville.
Kimmy Hopkins (two goals) and Ashley Grant (three goals) provided all the offense for the undefeated Tigers. Starting Brentsville goal keeper Stephanie Dougher only had to make three saves all game while the Tiger attackers booted 14 shots on goal. Julianna Willis and Shelby Ward both earned assists.
Brentsville hosts the championship round against John Handley this Thursday, May 22 at 6 p.m.
