Tuesday was a big night in Nokesville for Brentsville District High School as the Tiger softball and baseball teams clinched first place titles for the regular season in the Northwestern District, granting both teams guaranteed regional berths.
Devon Hileman hurled a complete-game shutout for a 3-0 win over Millbrook on the softball diamond while the boys had to claw back from a 2-1 deficit in the bottom of the eighth to win 3-2.
