Police reports: 5-14
Arrests and incidents reported by police on May 14.Possession With Intent to Distribute PCP, occurred on May 10, 2008,
around 6:00 a.m. in the 4300 block of Inn Street in Woodbridge.
Arrested was David Harland Bryant, 21, of Tessie Terrace,
Alexandria, on the charge. The incident occurred when the police were
investigating an unrelated matter. Bond and court date information were
not available.
Possession of Marijuana, occurred on May 10,2 008, around 9:23 p.m. in
the area of Dale Boulevard and Quate Lane in Dale City. A patrol
officer conducted a traffic stop and arrested Robert Aaron Ledbetter,
18, of Whiting Drive, Manassas, on the charge. Ledbetter was
released on a summons and has a court date of June 13, 2008.
Possession of Marijuana, occurred on May 11, 2008, around 12:30 a.m. in
the 16300 block of Taconic Circle in Dumfries. Police officers
responded to investigate a drug activity complaint. Arrested was Omar
Alejandro Leon, 19, of Taconic Circle, Dumfries, on the charge.
Leon was released on a summons and has a court date of June 13, 2008.
Possession of Marijuana, occurred on May 9, 2008, around 9:19 p.m. in
the area of Old Bridge Road and Westridge Drive in Woodbridge. A patrol
officer conducted a traffic stop and arrested Breon Willy-Keith Burns,
18, of Marline Drive, Woodbridge, on the charge. Burns was
released on a summons and has a court date of June 30, 2008.
Possession of Marijuana 3x, occurred on May 9, 2008, around 6:07 p.m. in
the 10800 block of Gambril Drive in Manassas. A patrol officer observed
a suspicious vehicle and stopped to investigate. Arrested were:
*Christopher Scott McConnell, 20, of Heron Pond Lane, Fairfax.
*William Alexander Richardson, 19, of Wintercress Lane, Springfield, Virginia.
*Tyler Justin Turner, 20, of E. 10th Street, Greenville, North Carolina.
They were all released on a summons and have a court date of June 27,
2008.
Possession of Marijuana, occurred on May 8, 2008, around 5:30 p.m. in
the 7800 block of Community Drive in Manassas. A patrol officer
observed a suspicious person and stopped to investigate. Arrested was
Kenneth James Moore, 22, of Sentry Ridge Road, Manassas, on the
charge. Moore was released on a summons and his court date was not
available.
Possession of Marijuana, occurred on May 9, 2008, around 6;30 p.m. in
the 7600 unit block of Cass Place in Manassas. A patrol officer
observed a suspicious person and stopped to investigate. Arrested was
Dwayne Lee Phillips, 25, 0f Cass Place, on the charge. Bond
information was not available and his court date is May 30, 2008.
Possession of Marijuana, occurred on May 9,2008, around 9:26 p.m. in the
7800 block of Keara Court in Manassas. A patrol officer observed a
suspicious vehicle and stopped to investigate. Arrested were:
*Bryan Benjamin Long, 23, of Yuma Court, Manassas.
*Simon Yong Cha, 22, of Courtyard Way, Haymarket.
Bond and Court date information were not available.
Incidents
Attempted Armed Robbery, occurred on May 10,2008, around 10:30 p.m. in
the 10100 block of Lomond Drive in Manassas. The victim, a 22-year-old
man from Manassas reported that he was approached by three unknown
suspects. One of the suspects demanded cash and another suspect struck
him on the face with a hand gun. Nothing was stolen from the victim and
he suffered a small laceration on his nose. The suspects are described
as three Black males.
Armed Robbery, occurred on May 8, 2008, around 9:23 p.m. at a gas
station located in the 17100 block of Jefferson Davis Highway in
Woodbridge. The 27-year-old store clerk reported that the suspect
entered the store, threatened her with a gun, and demanded cash. The
suspect left the store with an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect
is described as a black male, between 14-16 years old, thin built,
approximately 5'7" tall, and was wearing a black jacket and blue jeans.
The store clerk was not injured during the robbery.
Strong-Arm Robbery, occurred on May 12, 2008, around 5:30 p.m. in the
commuter lot located at 2700 Potomac Mills Circle in Woodbridge. The
victim, a 38-year-old woman from Alexandria, reported that she was
sitting inside her vehicle when she was approached by an unknown male.
The suspect asked her a question and when she opened her window, the
suspect reached inside and took her purse. The suspect left in a dark
colored van being driven by a second suspect. The suspects are
described as two black males, between 25-30-years-old, and thin built.
The victim was not injured during the robbery.
