Board lists agenda for Tuesday

The Prince William Board of County Supervisors will meet on Tuesday, June 24, at 2 p.m., in the Board Chamber of the James J. McCoart Administration Building.

During the meeting, the board will hear presentations on nonconforming structures in the County, and a Transportation and Mass Transit Plan Update. In addition, the board will consider several budget amendments and two code amendments regarding fire protection and changes to the general County code.

At the 7:30 p.m. meeting the Board will consider several land use issues including:

  • Special Use Permit at Virginia Gateway Best Buy in the Gainesville District;
  • Special Use Permits in Bristow Center and a Proffer Amendment for The Shoppes at Lake Manassas in the Brentsville Magisterial District; and
  • Proffer Amendment in Staybridge Suites in the Occoquan Magisterial District.

The board’s agenda is available to the public on the County’s Web site at http://www.pwcgov.org/bocs.

Board meetings are aired live on the Prince William Channel on Tuesdays as scheduled, and are repeated Wednesday through Friday at 7:30 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday at 10 a.m.
