Arrests
Possession With Intent to Distribute Cocaine, Solicitation, Prostitution, occurred on June 7, 2008, around 11:31 p.m. in the 17900 block of Shopping Plaza in Dumfries. A patrol officer observed a suspicious vehicle and stopped to investigate. Arrested were Hiram Sebastian Dabney, 48, of Laural Street, and Jennifer Lee Lange, 30, of Dahlgren Court, both from Dumfries. Dabney was charge with possession with intent to distribute cocaine and solicitation. Dabney is accused of offering drugs to Lange in exchange for sexual favors. Dabney was held on $3,000 bond. Lange was charged with prostitution. Lange was released on a summons. Dabney and Lange each have a court date of July 30, 2008.
Destruction of Property, Disorderly Conduct, Intoxicated in Public, occurred on June 8, 2008, around 1:15 p.m. in the 15700 unit block of Tassia Lane in Woodbridge. Arrested was Edward Gorden, 44, of Holland Avenue, Lindenwold, New Jersey, on the named charges. Gorden is accused of breaking the windows of an acquaintance's vehicle during an argument. Gorden was held without bond and his court date was not available.
Statutory Burglary, occurred on June 7, 2008, around 1:02 a.m. in the 12600 block of Dulcinea Place in Lake Ridge. Arrested was David Brian Hoyt, 30, of Lexington Court, Lake Ridge on the charge. Hoyt is accused breaking a window of an acquaintance's house and attempted to get in. Hoyt was held on $10,000 bond and his court date was not available.
Possession of Marijuana, occurred on June 8, 2008, around 8:00 p.m. in the 7800 block of Cellar Door Drive in Bristow. Arrested was Robert B. Heflin, 23, of Eagle Court, Fredericksburg, on the charge. The arrest occurred while Heflin attended a concert at Nissan Pavilion. Heflin was released on a summons and has a court date of July 8, 2008.
Incidents
Grand Larceny From Auto, occurred between May 30, 2008, around 5:00 p.m. and June 5, 2008, around 5;45 p.m. in the 1600 block of Wigglesworth Way in Woodbridge. A stereo and a DVD player valued at $850 was stolen. the incident occurred when the victim left his vehicle at an auto repair shop. there were no signs of forced entry.
Grand Larceny of Auto, occurred on June 8, 2008, between 6;25 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. in the area of I-95 and Prince William Parkway in Woodbridge. A 1997, GMC, Sonoma, pick-up truck, green in color, vaulted at $3,500 was stolen. The victim had parked his vehicle on the side of the road due to mechanical failure and when he returned it was missing.
Statutory Burglary, occurred on June 5, 2008, around 4:00 p.m. in the 14900 block of Cloverdale Road in Woodbridge. The police responded to investigate a business alarm call and when they arrived they found that the windows had been tampered with. Nothing was stolen.
Attempted Statutory Burglary, occurred between June 3, 2008, unk time, and June 7, 2008, unk time, in the 13200 block of Durtz Road in Woodbridge. The victim reported that a door of his residence had been tampered with. Entry was not gained and nothing was stolen.
Statutory Burglary, occurred on June 6, 2008, between 8:30 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. in the 4400 block of Starling Court in Woodbridge. The victim reported that her residence had been ransacked but nothing was stolen. Entry was gained by forcing a window opened.
Statutory Burglary, occurred between June 1, 2008, around 8:00 p.m. and June 5, 2008, around 7:00 a.m. in the 3500 block of Lacebark Elm Court in Woodbridge. Three pairs of sneakers valued at $300 were stolen from the victim's garage. There were no signs of forced entry.
Statutory Burglary, occurred on June 6, 2008, between 5;00 a.m. and 4;00 p.m. in the 1400 block of Maryland Avenue in Woodbridge. The victim reported that his residence had been ransacked and Jewelry, a DVD player, and cash were stolen. The total amount of the stolen property is $4389. Entry was gained by breaking a rear patio glass door.
Statutory Burglary, occurred on June 6, 2008, between 5:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. in the 4500 block of Kendall Drive in Dale City. A flat screen TV, a stereo, and a karaoke machine valued at $4,000 were stolen from the victim's residence. There were no signs of forced entry.
Statutory Burglary, occurred on June 6, 2008, between 11:00 a.m. and 1:10 p.m. in the 14800 block of Alabama Avenue in Woodbridge. The victim reported that her house had been ransacked and Jewelry, cash, and a jar with coins were stolen. the total amount of the stolen property is 42,035. Entry was gained through an unlocked door.
Statutory Burglary, occurred on June 6, 2008, between 12:00-1:40 p.m. in the 1800 block of Halifax Road in Woodbridge. Two video game systems, numerous pair of sneakers, jewelry, and an iPod were stolen. The total amount of the stolen property is $2,265. Entry was gained by breaking a rear glass patio door.
