Arrests and incidents reported by police on July 18Arrested
Harry Francis Miller III, 44, residing in Beauford, South Carolina. Miller was charged with Rape, two counts of Aggravated Sexual Battery, two counts of Forcible Sodomy, two counts of Indecent Liberties With a Minor.
On 07-01-08, the police began the investigation of two sexual assault complaints that occurred between June of 2002 and March of 2003 in Prince William County. The victims, two females, were 11-years-old and 14-years-old at the time of the alleged offenses. The assaults occurred while Miller was in a supervisory role of the victims.
On 07-16-08, Miller was taken into custody by U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force in Beauford, South Carolina. Miller is being held without bond pending extradition to Prince William County.
Incidents
Armed Robbery, occurred on July 18, 2008, around 12:25 a.m. in the 8000 Community Drive in Manassas. The victim, a 39-year-old man from Gainesville, was robbed at gun point while walking in the area. The victim reported that the suspect threatened him with a gun and demanded money. The victim was relieved of money and a cigar. The suspect left the scene running to an unknown location. The victim was not injured during the robbery. The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, between 20-30-years-old, he is approximately 5'8" tall, medium built, and was wearing a blue bandana around the neck, blue basketball shorts. The suspect was not wearing a shirt.
Grand Larceny, occurred between July 15, 2008, around 4;00 p.m. and July 16, 2008, around 5;50 a.m. in the 11200 block of Balls Ford Road in Manassas. Two saws, two nail guns, a tool belt, a hammer drill, two drills, and several carpentry tools were stolen from a construction site. The total amount of the stolen property is $8,370. The tools were taken from tool boxes that were left unattended in a building that is under construction.
Grand Larceny From Auto, occurred between July 15, 2008, around 9:45 p.m. and July 15, 2008, around 5;50 a.m. in the 4900 block of Kaye Road in Woodbridge. A GPS and cash were stolen from a 2000, Ford, Explorer. Entry was gained by breaking a window. The victim had parked his vehicle in front of his residence.
Grand Larceny From Auto, occurred between July 15, 2008, around 2:30 p.m. and July 16, 2008, around 8:30 a.m. in the 16800 block of Jed Forest Lane in Dumfries. A white and gold motorcycle helmet and a red motorcycle jacket valued at $650 were stolen from a 2002, Nissan, Xterra. There were no signs of forced entry into the vehicle.
Grand Larceny of Auto, occurred on July 16, 2008, between 10:00 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. in the 19000 block of Queen Drive in Triangle. A 2008, Ford, Fusion, 4-door, silver in color, valued at $25,000 was stolen. The victim had rented the vehicle and was parked in front of his residence when it was stolen.
Grand Larceny From Auto, occurred between July 16, 2008, around 9:30 p.m. and July 17, 2008, around 5:30 a.m. in the 15500 block of Horseshoe Lane in Woodbridge. Four tires and rims valued at $3,000 were removed and stolen from a 2007, Dodge, Charger. The vehicle was parked in front of the victim's residence when the theft occurred.
Grand Larceny From Auto, occurred on July 17, 2008, between 1:30-7:00 a.m. in the 16400 block of Steerage Circle in Woodbridge. Four tires and Rims valued at $2,100 were removed and Stolen from a 2001, Cadillac, Deville. The vehicle was parked in front of the victim's residence when the theft occurred.
Grand Larceny From Auto, occurred between July 16, 2008, unk time, and July 17, 2008, unk time, in the 1500 block of Old Bridge Road in Woodbridge. A stereo system valued at $600 was stolen from a 1991, Honda, CRX. Entry was gained by breaking a window.
Grand Larceny From Auto, occurred between July 15,2008, around 7:30 p.m. and July 16, 2008, around 7:30 a.m. in the 16800 block of Nuttal Oak Place in Woodbridge. A lap top computer valued at $2,500 was stolen from a 2003, Honda, Civic. There were no signs of forced entry.
Statutory Burglary, occurred between July 15, 2008, around 8:00 a.m. and July 16, 2008, around 7:20 a.m. in the 8000 block of Urbanna Road in Manassas. The office at a community pool was broken into but nothing was taken. Entry was gained by breaking a window.
