Grand Larceny, occurred on July 14, 2008, around 7:30 p.m. in the parking lot of the Manassas Mall located at 8300 Sudley Road in Manassas. Arrested was Roy Edward Perry, 20, of Prince Cole Court, Apt 5, Manassas, on the charge. Perry is accused of stealing two rubber speed bumps from the parking lot. Perry was released on a $5,000 bond and has a court date of August 8, 2008.

Malicious Wounding, occurred on July 14, 2008, around 1:30 a.m. in the 10700 block of Balls Ford Road in Manassas. Arrested was Chad Alan Cook, 24, 2008, of Andersonville Road, Dillwyn, Virginia, on the charge. Cook is accused of beating a 37-year-old man from Farmville, Virginia, during an argument. Cook and the victim were in the parking lot of a restaurant arguing. The victim was transported to a local hospital and was treated for a laceration he received on his chin. In addition the victim suffered severe injuries on his face. Cook was held without bond and his court date was not available.

Possession of Schedule II Substance, Possession of Marijuana, Driving on a Suspended Operators License, occurred on July 15, 2008, around 12:30 a.m. in the area of Dale Boulevard and Catalpa Court in Dale City. A patrol officer conducted a traffic stop and arrested Darrell Alexander Laron Ford, 22, of Santa Rosa Court, Manassas, on the charges. Search incident to arrest, the officer found the drugs in the vehicle. Ford was held on $10,000 bond and has a court date of September 5, 2008,

Possession With Intent To Distribute Marijuana, Driving Under the Influence (DUI), occurred on July 15, 2008, around 10:33 p.m. in the area Gordon Boulevard and I95 in Woodbridge. A patrol officer conducted a traffic stop and arrested Joshua Allen Gorby, 25, of District Court, Morgantown, Virginia, on the charges. Gorby was held on a $10,000 bond and has a court date of September 2, 2008.

Possession of a Concealed Weapon (machete), Possession of Marijuana, occurred on July 12, 2008, around 7:49 p.m. in the area of Jefferson Davis Highway and Featherstone Road in Woodbridge. A patrol officer conducted a traffic stop and arrested Russell Gregory Middleton Jr., 25, of Oakwood Drive, Woodbridge, on the charges. Middleton was released on two summonses and has a court date of September 2, 2008.

Statutory Burglary, occurred on July 14, 2008, around 12:03 p.m. in the 7400 block of Mason King Court in Manassas. The police responded to investigate a burglary-in-progress. The business' manager reported that an unknown male was found in the loading dock stealing copper wire. The suspect dropped the copper when he was spotted and fled the scene in a green 4-door sedan, driven by a second unknown suspect.

Statutory Burglary, occurred on July 15, 2008, between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. in the 13100 block of Carriage Ford Road in Nokesville. A video game system, jewelry, a purse, and cash were stolen from the residence. The total amount of the stolen property is $2,624. Entry was gained by forcing a side door open.

Statutory Burglary, occurred between July 12, 2008, around 9:00 a.m. and July 15, 2008, around 10:00 a.m. in the 3400 block of Braddock Drive in Dale City. A Television, a CD player, game cards, and video games, valued at $940 were stolen. Entry was gained through an opened door.

Grand Larceny of Auto, occurred between July 14, 2008, around 9:00 p.m. and July 15, 2008, around 6:10 a.m. in the 12400 block of Manchester Way in Woodbridge. A 2003, Honda, Civic, 4-door, white in color, valued at $14,000 was stolen. The victim had parked her vehicle in front of her residence.

Grand Larceny of Auto, occurred between July 10, 2008, around 10:00 p.m. and July 11, 2008, around 2:00 p.m. in the 7800 block of Brighton Way in Manassas. A 2004, Chrysler, PT Cruiser, 4-door, silver in color, valued at 15,000 was stolen. The victim had parked her vehicle in front of her residence.

Grand Larceny of Auto, occurred between July 11, 2008, around 4:00 p.m. and July 14, 2008, around 2:00 p.m. in the area of Dublin Drive and Damascus Drive in Manassas. A 1999, Chevrolet, truck, valued at $8,000 was stolen. The victim left the key inside the truck and unattended. When the victim returned, the truck had been stolen.
