Additional arrests made in burglary case

On 07-11-08, the police made five additional arrests in connection to numerous residential and businesses burglaries that have occurred within the last six months in the Woodbridge area. A patrol officer conducted a traffic stop in the area of the Rippon Middle School, and arrested James Cox on his outstanding warrant for the burglary of the 1800 block of Halifax. All the occupants named below were initially charged and arrested for possession of marijuana. Detectives from the Burglary Unit interviewed the below named subjects and developed information linking them to the burglaries.

On 03-22-08, between midnight and 7:00 a.m., the Oasis Club, located at 13188 Marina Way, in Woodbridge was burglarized. Entry was gained by force. Over $5,000 in cash was stolen.

On 05-31-08, at approximately 4:15 a.m. , the Outback Steak House, located at 14580 Potomac Mills Road, in Woodbridge was burglarized. Entry was gained by breaking a window.

On 01-02-08, overnight a residence located in the 1400 block Fond Hollow Lane in Woodbridge was burglarized. Entry was gained by force.

Joe Anthony Interiano, 18, of Lynn Street, Woodbridge, was arrested and charged with Statutory Burglary and Destruction of Property. Interiano is accused of burglarizing the Outback Steak House.

Alex Mauricio Villatoro, 19, of Illinois Court, Woodbridge, was arrested and charged with Statutory Burglary and Grand Larceny. Villatoro is accused of breaking into the Oasis Club.

Anthony Lemus, 19, of Redbud Court, Woodbridge, was arrested and charged with Statutory Burglary and Grand Larceny. Lemus is accused of breaking into the Oasis Club.

Two 17-year-old, from Woodbridge have been also arrested and charged with Statutory Burglary. They are accused of breaking into the house located at Fond Hollow Lane. The juveniles were released to a parent and they will be having a hearing in the Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court.

All the accused have a scheduled court date of August 5, 2008. They accused of being co-conspirators in the burglaries. Their bond information was not available.
