Arrests and incidents reported by police on July 14

On 07-13-08, at approximately 12:40 p.m. the police responded to investigate a crash in the intersection of Nokesville Road and Aden Road in Nokesville. A 2004 Harley Davidson FLHTCUI motorcycle lost control and rear-ended a 2006 Pontiac G6. The operator of the motorcycle was identified as a 51-year-old man and the rear rider was identified as a 49-year-old woman, both from Manassas. The motorcycle operator was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The rear rider was thrown off the motorcycle and was flown to local hospital with severe injuries.
The driver of the Pontiac was identified as 24-year-old man and the passenger was identified as a 23-year-old woman, both from Manassas. Their medical condition was not available. The investigation continues. No charges have been filed.
Arrests
Possession With Intent to Distribute Schedule II Substance (cocaine), Possession of Cocaine, Possession of Marijuana, Obstruction of Justice, occurred on July 11, 2008, around 12:53 a.m. in the 13600 block of Minnieville Road in Woodbridge. A police officer observed a suspicious vehicle and stopped to investigate.
*Jonathan Charles Vann, 31, of Castlebridge Lane, Woodbridge, was arrested and charged with Possession of Cocaine, Possession of Marijuana, and Obstruction of Justice.
*Darrell Alexander Laron Ford, 22, of Santa Rosa Court, Manassas, was arrested and charged with Possession With Intent to Distribute Cocaine.
Vann and Ford were each held on $10,000 bond and have a court date of August 28, 2008.
