District 10 Little League senior finale moved to Monday

SUNDAY, JULY 13 2008

The District 10 Little League senior-league championship game featuring the Gainesville District and Lower Loudoun all-star teams has been postponed to 5:45 p.m. Monday at Long Park in Haymarket.
Rain started pouring right as the match was about to begin Sunday night at Robinson High School in Fairfax.
Gainesville District is 2-1 in the double-elimination four-team tournament while Lower Loudoun is 3-1. Teams from Fairfax and Manassas Park have already been eliminated.
Lower Loudoun and Gainesville split the two games they played against each other this past week with Gainesville winning 3-2 Wednesday and Loudoun winning 7-4 Saturday.
