Arrests and incidents reported by police on July 10

 

Arrests

 

Possession of a Scheduled Controlled Substance (Cocaine), occurred on July 6, 2008, around 10:31 p.m. in the 3600 block of Quantico Terrace in Triangle. A patrol officer observed a suspicious person and stopped to investigate. Arrested was Joseph Lee McElveen, 23, of an unknown address in Triangle, on the charge. Bond and court date information were not available.

 

Possession With Intent to Distribute Marijuana, occurred on July 6, 2008, around 11:21 p.m. in the 12600 Valleywood Drive in Woodbridge. The police responded to investigate a disorderly in progress complaint. Arrested was Christopher Shaun Crosby, 18, of Valleywood Drive, on the charge. Crosby was held on $2,000 bond and has a court date of August 26, 2008.

 

Possession With Intent to Distribute Marijuana, occurred on July 6, 2008, around 9:04 p.m. in the area of Dumfries Road and Bristow Road in Dumfries. A patrol officer conducted a traffic stop and arrested Martin Allen Troy, 54, of September Lane, Fairfax Station, on the charge. Troy was released on his own recognizance and his court date was not available.

 

Possession of a Firearm by Convicted Felon, occurred don July 9, 2008, around 3:00 a.m. in the area of Millwood Drive and Horner Road in Woodbridge. A patrol officer observed a suspicious activity and stopped investigate. Arrested was Prince Riesaun Perkins, 26, of Fuller Heights Road, Triangle, on the charge. Perkins was held without bond and has a court date of August 2, 2008.

 

Incidents

 

Possession With Intent to Distribute Marijuana, occurred on July 8, 2008, around 10:56 p.m. in the 3400 block of Braddock Drive in Dale City. A patrol officer observed a fireworks violation and stopped to investigate. When the officer began her investigation, one the suspects fled the scene on foot. During the investigation the officer seized approximately 4 ounces (4 oz) of marijuana. The suspect was identified as was Brian L. Dade, 33, of 3401 Braddock Drive, Dale City. Dade is a Black male, approximately 5'11" tall, medium arrival, black hair, and brown eyes. Dade is wanted for possession with intent to distribute marijuana.

 

Grand Larceny of Auto, occurred on July 8, 2008, around 7:10 p.m. in the 18600 block of Jefferson Davis Highway in Woodbridge. A 2008, Ford, F150, pick-up, red in color, valued at $25,000 was stolen. The victim entered a convenience store and left the truck with the doors unlocked and the key on a front seat. When the victim returned she observed a White male driving her truck away.

 

Grand Larceny From Auto, occurred between July 7, 2008, around midnight and July 8, 2008, around 6:30 a.m. in the 1300 block of Saxon Street in Woodbridge. The first victim reported that an iPod, a gun holster, and a pair sunglasses valued at $285 were stolen. The victim left his 2004, Ford, truck unsecured. The second victim had a portable DVD player and a stereo amplifier valued at $180 were stolen from a1999, Ford, F250, truck. The second victim also left his vehicle unsecured.

 

Grand Larceny From Auto, occurred between July 6, 2008, around 10:30 p.m. and July 7, 2008, around 8:00 a.m. in the 14700 block of Dodson Drive in Woodbridge. Three lap top computers, two backpacks, a camcorder, and other electronic equipment valued at $5,150 were stolen from the victim's recreational vehicle. There were no signs of forced entry.

 

Grand Larceny of Auto, occurred on July 4, 2008, between 11:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. in the 12900 block of Orleans Street in Woodbridge. A 1996, Honda, Civic, 4-door, green in color, valued at $2,000 was stolen. The victim had parked his vehicle near his residence.

 

Grand Larceny of Auto, occurred on July 6, 2008, between 1:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. in the 14300 block of Southgate Court in Woodbridge. A 1999, Dodge, Caravan, red in color, valued at $3,500 was stolen. The victim had parked his van in front of his residence.

 

Statutory Burglary, occurred between July 1, 2008, 12:00 p.m. and July 5, 2008, around 8:00 p.m. in the 13700 unit block of Jefferson Davis Highway in Woodbridge. A mini chopper motorcycle valued at $800 was stolen from the victim's garage. The investigation continues.

 

Statutory Burglary, occurred between June 14, 2008, around 8:00 a.m. and July 8, 2008, around 7:00 p.m. in the 3400 block of Powells Crossing Court in Woodbridge. Numerous jewelry items valued at $3,975 were stolen from the victim's residence. There were no signs of forced entry. The incident occurred while the family was away on vacation.
