Arrests and incidents reported by police on July 3
Arrests
Possession of a Concealed Weapon (switchblade), occurred on July 1, 2008, around 11;00 a.m. in the area of Paxton Street and Colby Lane in Woodbridge. The police arrested a 17-year-old from Woodbridge and charged him with possession of a concealed weapon. The juvenile was released to a parent and he will be having a hearing in the Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court. The arrest occurred while the police were investigating an unrelated incident.
Destruction of Property, occurred on July 2, 2008, around 7:10 p.m. in the 12300 block of cotton Mill Drive in Woodbridge. The police responded to a vandalism-in progress complaint and arrested was Janet Louise Stringer, 49, of Sailstone Lane, Dale City, on the charge. Stringer is accused of kicking a 2003, Toyota, Avalon, and causing a dent. Stringer and the victim did not know each other. Stringer was held without bond and her court date was not available.
Possession of Stolen Property, Possession of a Concealed Weapon (hand gun), occurred on July 1, 2008, around 12:23 a.m. in the area of Sudley Manor Drive and Bland Drive in Manassas. A patrol officer conducted a traffic stop and arrested Heraldo Josue Martinez, 25, of Sudley Manor Drive, Manassas, on the charges. Martinez is accused of being in possession of a reported stolen hand gun. Martinez was held on $6,500 bond and has a court date of August 22, 2008.
Possession of a Schedule II Substance (cocaine), Intoxicated in Public, occurred on June 28, 2008, around 9:30 p.m. in the 7800 block of Cellar Door in Bristow. Arrested was Aaron Stanley Jacobson, 19, of Search Terrace, Bethesda, Maryland, on the charges. The incident occurred while Jacobson attended a concert at Nissan Pavilion. Bond and court date information were not available.
Possession of Marijuana, occurred on June 30, 2008, around 9:45 a.m. in the 12100 block of Presidio Way in Woodbridge. Arrested was Jorge Falcon Jr., 18, of Presidio Way, on the charge. The arrest occurred when the police were investigating an unrelated matter. Falcon was released on a summons and he has a court date of August 4, 2008.
Possession of Marijuana, occurred on July 3, 2008, around 2:48 a.m. in the area of Jefferson Davis Highway and East Longview Drive in Woodbridge. A patrol officer conducted a traffic stop and arrested Joe Anthony Interiano, 18, of Alabama Avenue in Woodbridge, on the charge. Interiano was released on a summons and his court date was not available.
Possession of Marijuana, occurred on July 3, 2008, around 2:38 a.m. in the 3100 unit block of Chesapeake Drive in Woodbridge. A patrol officer conducted a traffic stop and arrested Christopher A. Ross, 19, of Bald Eagle Way, Woodbridge, on the charge. Ross was released on a summons and has a court date of August 29, 2008.
Incidents
Statutory Burglary, occurred between June 29, 2008, around 2:00 p.m. and June 30, 2008, around 8:00 a.m. in the 12500 block of Aden Road in Nokesville. A jar with change was stolen from a church. Entry was gained by breaking a window.
Statutory Burglary, occurred between June 30, 2008, around 10:30 p.m. and July 1, 2008, around 7:30 p.m. in the 14500 Colchester Road in Woodbridge. Three picture frames, a bag with coins, and personal documents were stolen from the victim's residence. Entry was gained by forcing a door opened. The total amount of the stolen property is $450.
Statutory Burglary, occurred on July 1, 2008, between 8:00 a.m. and 6:45 p.m. in the 6400 block of Yates Ford Road in Manassas. Three televisions, three video game systems, video games accessories, numerous DVD's, and a collectible item valued at $7,200 were stolen. Entry was gained by breaking a window.
Grand Larceny, occurred between June 27, 2008, around 5:00 p.m. and June 30, 2008, around 6;30 a.m. in the 5162 Jacobs Creek Place in Haymarket. Two microwaves, a wine grotto, and a double glass door were stolen from a storage trailer. The total amount of the stole property is $4,450. Entry was gained by breaking the locked doors.
Grand Larceny From Auto, occurred on July 1, 2008, around 11:30 a.m. in the 14900 block of Jefferson Davis Highway in Woodbridge. A purse and its contents were stolen from the victim's vehicle. The total amount of the stolen property is $322. There were no signs of forced entry.
Grand Larceny, occurred on July 2, 2008, around 2:15 a.m. in the 14600 block of Potomac Mills Road in Woodbridge. A laptop computer valued at $750 was stolen from a hotel. The computer was left unattended and when the victim returned, the computer was missing.
